Self service keller. Not overly welcoming waitress. Their kellerbeer was in poor condition. Great view and surroundings!. Go to Roppelts instead!

Same as with Rittmayer keller right next to it, this place blew me away by its ambiance. It’s quite rare that my opinion of a place will be improved by its popularity, but the whole thing just benefited from a sort of seal of authenticity that made it great. Lieberth had the best beer (that day) of the three places, and some nice sausages to snack on as well. Service was really friendly, the width of the gap of kindness between what we experienced in Franconia vs the cities is unmeasurable.

Visited 21 July 2013. Fairly busy on a Sunday afternoon. Food was pretty good, I enjoyed my trout, and the beer was fine, although for some reason not as pleasant as at the Dorfkeller in Hallerndorf village. An ok destination, but there are several better ones in the immediate vicinity.

Interesting place, with the old keller still intact. Beautiful view into the forest. Less than enthusiastic service, and not very good beer, though

Next to Kreuzberg bierkeller up on the hill, Leiberth offers their kellerbier vom fass only. You might find bottles down at the Dorfkeller in Hallerndorf. Simple menu of pork, sausage, potatoes and fish. Cramped, strange gravel courtyard feel. I was not a fan of the character of this keller complex, but I would take these Lieberth and Rittmayer kellers over the Kreuzberg keller, based on quality of the beer and setting / noise.
