Kris Wines is the THE place in London to score some top beers at a decent price. His selection is always changing and he updates his newly arrived beers on his twitter and facebook accounts with pictures which is highly useful. Kris the owner is also very helpful upon helping the customer choose the beer right for them.
Worth the trot up to Camden Road!

The best beer shop in London, hands down. The location is a little strange, tucked in a corner of Camden/Islington that’s not too-well traveled (by me, at least). The store is small and pokey, half of it devoted to wine. The beers are organized roughly by country The UK options are quite good, lots of Kernel, Marble, rare Brewdogs, interesting Scottish beers, some smaller southern micros. The American options are interesting - Bruery, Lost Abbey, Clown Shoes, Maine Beer, Rogue etc. There’s also plenty of Mikkeller, De Molen, De Struise, Nogne and many others available. The last time I visited, the shop had a number of different Cantillon offerings. Kris is very helpful, and always happy to make suggestions. The prices are the best in the city for the quality on offer. Overall, highly recommended.

Small shop with high quality selection of British micros and also a fine selection of beers from the rest of Europe and some Americans.
Visiting in mid-January is not the best timing according to the staff; off season and a lot of holes in the shelves.

Cozy little shop with a very good selection of beers. It would have been even better if the wines were taken out for the sake of the beer. But it is a wine store, with more beer than wine. A decent selection of Mikkeller, a couple I haven’t been able to find on the Continent, but overall the same stuff you’ll find elsewhere. A couple Nogne, a couple BeerHere, and a few American beers (Pizza Port, Lost Abbey, Bruery, etc.) and an excellent selection of British beers I have not seen anywhere else. Kris was busy helping a fellow that was ordering a bunch of stuff for a fest or something, otherwise he was friendly and helpful.

What a little treasure of a place. I would trek out there all the way from east London since this guy is so much cheaper than other beer retailers in London. Always bring new stuff and very big selection.

Little place with huge selection of beers and wines of course in Camden town. Lot of British, American, German beers. My highlights are The Kernel, Sambrooks, Stone brewing, Brooklyn Brewery. But there are much more interesting beers. Price are reasonable, but you spend more money, than you planned. This is beer shop, where I go first for shopping, when I am in London.

Great beer shop with a cracking selection. Plenty of interesting Mikkellers, loads of Belgians. And Kris is a great guy. Stock comes and goes, but there is always something that you want to drink. And it is 10 mins. walk from my house which is a big plus for me.

Great little place. It’s like a mix between a kiosk and a liquor store. The beer selection was really decent with plenty of both British micros and lots of American micros. Actually some rather rare stuff from Mikkeller. The belgian stuff disappointed a little, but not catastrophically. And their best attribute: about 10 different beers from The Kernel, all really fresh and at very reasonable prices. The manager was really nice, too. Only downside is that there is a bit of way from a tube station. Definitely my recommendations.
