What a little treasure of a place. I would trek out there all the way from east London since this guy is so much cheaper than other beer retailers in London. Always bring new stuff and very big selection.

Little place with huge selection of beers and wines of course in Camden town. Lot of British, American, German beers. My highlights are The Kernel, Sambrooks, Stone brewing, Brooklyn Brewery. But there are much more interesting beers. Price are reasonable, but you spend more money, than you planned. This is beer shop, where I go first for shopping, when I am in London.

Great beer shop with a cracking selection. Plenty of interesting Mikkellers, loads of Belgians. And Kris is a great guy. Stock comes and goes, but there is always something that you want to drink. And it is 10 mins. walk from my house which is a big plus for me.

Great little place. It’s like a mix between a kiosk and a liquor store. The beer selection was really decent with plenty of both British micros and lots of American micros. Actually some rather rare stuff from Mikkeller. The belgian stuff disappointed a little, but not catastrophically. And their best attribute: about 10 different beers from The Kernel, all really fresh and at very reasonable prices. The manager was really nice, too. Only downside is that there is a bit of way from a tube station. Definitely my recommendations.

Brilliant beer shop in north London. One of the best, if not the best in London. Awesome selection of UK, Belgian, Danish, Dutch, American, German.....beers. They have a lot of stuff here you just can’t get elsewhere, in particular the lambic selection is really good. Smallish place, stuffed full of beer - classic Aladdin’s cave. It’s just a shame I live in south London......

Amazing how hard it is to find a good range of bottled beer in London these days. Kris Wines up in York Way in deepest Camden is as good as it gets. Wide variety of American Craft Beers, German styles, British ales, seasonal beers and other interesting finds from around the world. Take plenty of cash as you’ll find you’ll buy more than you think and the prices are reflective of the fact that some of them are expensive to import in small quantities. In short, a beer lovers paradise in the hidden guise of a regular off off licence. Re-rate - with London getting more competitive Kris Wines is starting to feel a bit pricey, still a great shop, but I’ve down graded it on value.

How can one fit so many beers and wines in such a small store, but they’ve done a great job and the selection is great as well. Staff is very helpfull and helped me to buy a load of beers to take back home with me; IPAs, Imperials, Barley Wines, Porters... I will certainly return on my next trip to London.

I’m amazed how much this place has improved in recent years. I lived 10 mins walk from here 4 years ago, and the selection was ok, if nothing fantastic. After a recent visit its fair to say this is now probably the best place to buy quality bottles in London. Kris is a top bloke, who knows a good beer. Plenty of De Molen and Mikkeller in stock and one of the largest US Micro selections I’ve seen in the UK. My only complaint would probably be the lack of floor space in the shop., but this is a minor quibble. Definitely worth a detour if you’re in London.
