Meh atmosphere. Pretty good selection. Food is kind of a joke. but it’s essentially just snacks. Bad, bad service. Not so much rude as impressively indifferent and shockingly lacking in knowledge of their offerings - and this while overstaffed. Two questions were answered - literally - with hands thrown in the air, one of which regarded how dry/sweet a certain beer was relative to others. Sitting at a bar with about two dozen customers in the building, and four bartenders were just pulling at their t-shirts, bumping into each other, and walking by guests with empty glasses. It seemed... intentionally bad. They did have a decent selection, and one stellar beer... but hell, I’ll be elsewhere.

I live in MI so Kuhnhenn is a regular brewery I frequent. The beer is as legit as it gets. The ambiance is fun and inviting. As you walk in, there is open high top tables that encompass the entire bar. Don’t bother with food here because it is all about the beer. Overall, there is a reason the brewery is rated in the top 11 breweries in the world.

Amazing place, deffinetely a "locals" and gent club environment. The asssortment of fermented beverages was just astounding. Quality overall seems top notch, lagers are definetely not their strength, but everything else was 3.5+. Servers have kind of an attitude (must be for the very busy rythm) but overall service was good. They almost dont do food, but again, no troubles with that given the quality of the wares. Beer was reazonable priced for MI standards, Meads and other stuff was a little pricey from my point of view.

Ambiance is a nice little bar with surrounding tables, open and friendly. Service was good and knowledgable. Selection is always a pretty big selection of stuff, some year round and some one off. Beer was priced very fairly, including growlers prices for some of their better stuff. Definitely worth stopping by if in the Detroit area.

Pretty good pub. Loads of beers on tap and twice as many meads available. You can get pints or sample flights of five for $12. Service was decent but ambiance of the place is a little bland. Suburban location doesn’t help either. Prices are good for pub, but they sell take-out bottles at the same price you would order them in the bar. (Lowest beer bottle was $6 for a 330ml). Some great beers though.

I really enjoyed this brewery. HUGE selection of beers that are all fun and exciting. Food choices are limited, but ordering pizza to be delivered is not a problem for place. Homebrew shop across the parking lot too. Limited parking, but not a big deal. Great place!

Visited Kuhnhenn's for the first time for Winter Solstice so (potentially) a bad day to rate them. Ambiance is basic, although I did enjoy seeing their various medals hanging from the rafters. Service was understandably rough considering the day but they did a great job bringing in additional (good) people to help... the keg of water was a nice touch too! Tap selection was adequate to good with only a few bottles for sale already sold out. I hope to come back on a 'normal' night to enjoy some fellowship!

Cool place with a lot of beer on tap and mead in bottles. Sample flights available and it is a nice and cool laid back place.

A nice selection of beers on tap that you can buy in five samplers. The beer ranged from ordinary to well above average. It took a long time to get service and then it was ok at best. The beer was a little on the spendier side but I’ll pay a little extra to get something decent.

What makes this bar rather unique is the large selection of meads. The menu of draft beers is also quite nice. The brews we tried were good, but not great.
