I kinda enjoyed the waiter looking at my crew in a funny way the entire time we were there. Getting a pitcher of gueze sealed the deal. The spaghetti was super simple and perhaps not so great, but it did the trick on a long night of drinking.

I guess I must have been lucky because we found this little cafe by accident one night. The interior is truly warm and quaint with medieval character. There are many decorations of Lambic and Faro bottles around the wooden tables and chairs that line the little cafe. I tried the Lambic Doux that was served in a small ceramic pitcher (that I bought as a souvenir). The Lambic was delicious and seems to be rare due to the fact that Ive never seen it anywhere else.

Cozy little place, with a tasty house beer from Timmermann. Nice and tidy, living-room-style pub.

2 Minute walk from Grand Place. Rare House beer: Timmermans Doux. Cozy, calm and friendly atmosphere and surroundings. Beautiful interier. Old rustic furniture, ceramic mugs and so on. A nice place to stop if you need a moment of silence away from the touristy streets of Brussels. 20 beers total. Kwak, Karmeliet, Cantillon Iris, Trappist, Timmermans (5,6 different ones from that brewey) OK

This is a great bar for ambiance and beer. It has real old-world and back-street charm. It has a tiled floor, wood paneling and wrought iron but in an understated way. It has rows of small wooden tables packed together. The focus is very much on the beer, although food is served. Their specialty is the Timmermans Lambic Doux. Itís a quiet pleasant place. The draught beer is served in ceramic jugs with small glass tumblers.

Very nice setting in a back alley, nice furniture but really bad Timmermanís tapped pseudo-lambic spoil it all.

Interesting brown bar in a narrow alley. The ambiance is great with a good mixture of locals and people from out of town. The attraction is primarily the lambic on draft. Itís rather sweet and totally flat - but very, very primordial. The bar is a must see, but maybe not a place to again and again.

Selection: Draught Timmermans - served in ceramic jar.. Bottles: Cantillon, Orval, Gordon, Leffe. Serves also blends (fx. Lambik+Kriek). Tavern style interior. Food: Snacks like cheese and sausage. If you want to pay with Visa, you must bye for +20 euro.

Another cool back-alley Brussels dive with authentic turn-of-the-century atmosphere. The draught Timmermanís was refreshing and tasty, and itís fun to have your own little pitcher and tumbler. Cantillon gueuze was on the menu, for those looking for the sour stuff. But the ambiance is what I liked best.
