90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 thornecb (53) Marblehead, Massachusetts | May 10, 2013 I visited La Cave a Bulles on a recent family trip to Paris. This shop is on a small street near the Pompidou. Bottles line the walls, there is a picnic table in the center of the room for tastings and a refridgerator with local favorites accessible by employees only. Service was top flight - almost an hour spent showing and discussing local favorites in all styles. For French beers, this store cannot be beat - just about every brewery was represented and they had all my top choices from my "travel" list. Out of country beers were minimal but well selected for rarity. Prices were good for Paris. Overall a great visit (I stopped back a couple of times to restock), and they offer free bubble rap for those traveling back home. (214e rating d’établissement) | 88 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 17/20 omhper (154) Stockholm, Sweden | March 11, 2013 Pretty much all a beer hunter could ask for. A huge selection of modern French microbrews, sold by people that has a burning interest in these. Friendly and welcoming. I’m sure to return any time I go back to Paris. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 12/20 flyingrabbit (10) , France | March 9, 2013 Really good choice of beer (maybe the best in Paris). French micro at correct price, but international beer are really expensive, but a few only available here. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 18/20 IgorWilson (3) Brussels, Belgium | March 5, 2013 Best beershop in Paris | 92 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 19/20 altonbrownd (197) Brussels, Belgium | January 24, 2013 Was very pleasantly surprised. Quite a few top non French treasures like De Molen, Mikkeler, Nogne, etc. and a great amount of microbrews from France. Simon, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I went home with only 10 beers but all very good stuff. Will definitely be back soon. | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 erickok (87) Tours, France | November 10, 2012 Located in a small street packed with galleries and surrounded by hip and mostly expensive clothing shops lies a real gem. Carring about 80% French micro brewers, these guts not only are passionate about good and local beer, but also are happy to promote it pro-actively. Sure, they carry specials and one-offs by Mikkeler, De Molen, Cantillion, etc., but you go here for the smart selection of modern French brewers. Both guys are super knowledgeable and friendy. I even set up a little trade with them (thanks, Brandon!). On top of this, prices are very reasonable. Not sure what else you could ask for in a beer shop in current-state France. Highly recommended! | 92 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 Racerkorven (3) Sölvesborg, Sweden | October 29, 2012| Updated November 3, 2012 Very nice shop with a good selection of french and international craft beer. Very good service, | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 ogivlado (270) Zagreb, Croatia | September 25, 2012| Updated November 3, 2012 Great selection of Franch beers plus some other world wide. More than reasonable prices for Paris (French 0.33 bottle 3€). There’s also some 25-30 beers in the fridge so we went there few times. Must visit place. |
