82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 rauchbierlover (89) Roma, Italy | September 4, 2012 Benn there 3 days out of my 6 days in Barcellona, this means something. Well, it was the nearest to my hostal, but the selection they have on offer was quite astounding. I tried spanish micros and some belgian I cannot find here in Rome. The only thing I didn’t understand about this bar is the strange opening hours. 18-23??? | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 ivangoli (31) Milano, Italy | August 11, 2012 Nice place close to the Port with very good selection of beer from Usa, Italy, Spain and Belgium. Opening time is quite strange in my opinion but that’s the right plae to have a good beer before dinner without going outside the citycentre. | 58 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 2/10 OVERALL 10/20 itaste (37) , | July 29, 2012 Good location. Good spanish selection but extreeeeemely expensive on rare foreign gems. Sometimes nice beers on tap too. Overall: too expensive. | 66 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 MartinT (521) Montreal, Quebec | July 24, 2012 Nice little bar and store on the edge of the gothic quarter with a few taps, a few casks and quite a few bottles to choose from. Sadly, they do not have a lot of local microbrews on their taps (which is often the case in Barcelona, it seems), but the selection is still quality throughout, from Fuller’s on cask, to Rogue and Brewfist on the taps. They serve basic but flavorful pub bites too. The 2-3 tables in the back room make for a quiet place to drink your pint, but I found the bar in the store not too appealing. I just don’t feel like sitting in a store layout, I guess. Overall, this is still a great place to stop by when you are walking around the Old Town. You are sure to find something good to drink, or take away. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 hellbilly (139) scottsdale über alles, Arizona | June 28, 2012 stopped in 6/27/12... actually two days before as well but they were closing. apparently, they don’t like money...or maybe they don’t like work. either way they have strange hours and iffy service. ten beers on tap (3 rogue), a couple hand pumps and a decent bottle collection (for the area at least). everything in a proper glass and correct temperature. it is pricy but it beats drinking san miguel again | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 17/20 ultimatepoche (44) Lille, France | June 22, 2012 Very cool place in Barcelona, friendly people there; Great selection of bottled beers... what else do you need... go there if you can! | 70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 Zoret (19) Badalona, Spain | June 3, 2012 La primera cerveseria de veritat que vaig coneixer, molt recomanable! | 78 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 shrubber85 (166) Greenville, Indiana | April 21, 2012 Great place to go to get non-Spanish beers and some of the harder to find local microbrews. A place to get some nice beers but not much seating. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 12/20 phredrik (31) Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), Denmark | April 18, 2012 Went here back in 2009, and I remember it as being a really cool place. Lots of different micros, both Danish, American, Norwegian and English, and a small tap selection of 5 or so taps. They had barrels and tables you could stand or sit by and enjoy the beer you buy. The prices were a bit high, but then again there wasn’t much craft beer around in Spain back then. The manager back then, Stephen Huxley, was very friendly and helpful and had a cool beard. This is the place I would go in Barcelona for beer next time I am in town. | 78 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 17/20 Dr2970 (11) , Spain | April 11, 2012 Some interesting beers, but the place could be better, it’s good if you go with friends but not with your wife, no place to sit, but some rare beers to find. |
