Dropped in for a quick visit on a Sunday afternoon. Big loyal crowd of locals. But the staff was prompt to serve me a sturdy beer off the impressively deep list of beer offerings. I loved the one I had. Nice environment, peppered with some nice breweriana. Worth their hype. Brewery #698.

Best beer in Albuquerque, with excellent ambiance. This is one of the few places where you can get a flight of beer that encompasses their entire beer selection! Great staff!

This place is in walking distance from the newly renamed Canteen Brewhouse (Il Vicino) so thatís nice. The real attraction here is that they make some really good hoppy beer. If I lived in New Mexico Elevated IPA would be my new Pliny. The Project Dank was pretty awesome too. I guess it changes every batch as they experiment with different hop combinations. What I know for sure is that the version that I had on this trip was considerably better than the one I had at GABF the year before.

If you want to try everything on the menu be prepared to get a tray crammed full of tasters. 11 on tap at the time and probably too cheap for their own good. Iím pretty sure the bartender didnít charge for the last couple. A couple things of note: they had a vintage keg of their imperial stout on tap, Hell Froze Over (I guess their thing is that they would never brew a brown ale, but now they did), and their hefe is called "A Slice Of Hefen" (LOL). Good stuff all around.

The building has an interesting layout. When you enter the bar area is on the left. There is a dinning area (sort of, since they donít serve food here) on the right. And upstairs is a private room of sorts that was packed to the point where I couldnít even walk in. Iím fine with the bar. They also have a neat display right by the entrance. Itís a lit up display of a bunch of beer bottles with a La Cumbre sign in the middle. Also, around the bar area in the rafters are a bunch of empty beer bottles.

Over all itís a nice place with great service but youíre here for the beer. There isnít much to do if you donít like their beer.

Busy bar scene. Not a ton of room and street parking. But a good feel inside with a decent amount of beers on tap and more in the cooler. Pretty nice when you can get beers a week or less from bottling/canning. Beers are great as well.

My first stop. Rolled in not to many people. The bartender was very nice and know what he was talking about. The pub was pretty cool and the fresh smell of the current brew always scores point with me. The beers were awesome. Nice selections of bottles to go and good price on all the stuff.

Having never heard of this brewery I tried their elevation IPA and was blown away. After that I said to my wife we have to visit the brewery and set of the next day. Great solid beers very friendly service and nice ambiance considering itís in an industrial warehouse. Feels like an old friendly pub. Bar staff is very friendly and so is everyone else in there, you would be to if you were drinking their world class beers! Must visit if youíre in the area.

A somewhat tight tap room in the brewery that smelled great :). A small bar with some seating in two separate rooms. Bartender was friendly albeit a bit swamped. There were about 10 taps available with samplers possible. There was a food truck out front but did not sample on my visit. Prices were nice. A nice brewery overall.

My last stop of the night. Atmosphere was pretty solid, I met plenty of locals at the bar and a few milling around the other areas of the tasting room. Quality was pretty good. Beers served in the right glasses at least. Service was solid all around. I talked to both bartenders and they were really nice. Selection was solid with about 10 beers on offer, my favorite being their IPA or the Cafe Con Leche stout. They had a food truck out front but I didnít partake after having quite a bit of food beforehand, I did however talk to the owner of the truck at the bar and he was a hoot to talk to. Prices were more than reasonable for the area. Overall a really nice tasting room that I would definitely return to in the future.

Wish I would have had time to sample all of their excellent selections. Only sampled 6, think 14 were available. Food truck was available. Service was great as was everything else. A little off the beaten path, but worth the time locating. Stop by and enjoy.
