Visited in 2012. Nice little place, can get quite crowded in the evening. Has a modern feel to it. Nice music. Very good service. On a quiet Sunday evening one of the owners, working there, was ready to chat about beer, gave us samples. Everything was served in Teku glasses, I was suspicious about them at first, but loved them in the end. Quite good selection, 20 taps and 100+ bottles. Taps were combination of craft imports and French micros. Loved Thiriez Dalva and Saint Rieul Silvanecte. Taps prices are OK for Paris, considering the prices you’ll pay for macros elsewhere. Would like to visit it again.

Great little beer bar in a very local neighborhood. The draft selections are great, and they have many local beers to choose from. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A great spot to grab a beer and relax.

@ 30th April 2013 - Nice place in Paris to taste and discover beers. The choice is amazing, 20 beers on tap mostly french breweries. The choice is amazing and beers on tap are mostly cheaper. There is also a nice choice on bottle but it’s more expensive. The place is clean and really cozy but a little bit small. The service is nice and you will have many advices to choose your beer. About food, you can have bread with rillettes and paté to follow your beer.
@ 4th June 2015 - I update my post, because my last visit was the worst beer bar experience... I decided to visit the place on the evening. As always good atmosphere not very crowned with around 20 people inside. I toke a place at the bar and then the nightmare started... I waited around 10 min before the barman came and asked me for a drink. He purposed me a taster because the beer was "special" but it’s maybe the reason of my visit... He added some music, I waited more 10 min for my drink! 20 min for a beer it’s really too much! The place started also to be noisy (music + people) and I was shoved 2 times... This place is really not more a beer bar but more a bobo bar! I’m really sad to update my post but the last experience was really an horror!
My advice : go straight to Les Trois 8, greater ambiance and cheaper price with a good selection!

I have been there twice during a 3-day journey in Paris. Next to metro "Rue Saint-Maur". OK staff & bar. Guys from the restaurant are more eager to share their passion. Properly in the bar, nothing to be excited about except the beer card. Slightly disappointed.

All bare brick and modern-ish, pretty decent atmosphere early on a Saturday evening. Loads of Italian beer for some reason, but at least some French offerings. Prices reasonable for Paris, staff seemed OK, but a bit too busy to tell properly.

Worth a trip for the selection of beers, but it’s cramped and over-priced and the service comes without a smile. I prefer the revamped Frogs.

Been many, many times now. Still a top notch place, but there are 2 problems that one should be aware of. 1) It is, especially later in the evening, so busy that you are hard pressed to find any place to stand(!). Service is still speedy enough, but no time for a chat any more. 2) The atmosphere has increasingly become one of Parisian bobo’s, which I personally like less than before. On the other hand, they still do a great job with getting French craft beer and prices are for Paris still reasonable.
Old rating: Recommended by so many, so I had to drop by. Was the first to arrive, but they already had time for a good chat. Classy modern interior, Arctic Monkey album playing in the back. The guy at the bar was very friendly, spoke English very well and had a noticeable passion for tasty beer. They just had a small Dupont festival - normally I would happily go along with that(!), but of course I was here for the French micros. Taste nice, modern interpretations of classic Belgian/French styles, with full flavour. Didn’t try it, but their charcuterie looked great. Prices were very reasonable (about 4,5 euro per glass). Their 20 taps should do the trick, each served in great looking glass, but they also have a whole lot of bottles, half of which were on the paper flipcard menu. Close to the metro, so a must visit when in Paris.

No doubt, it’s one of the nice beer-related beer I’ve visited. Not only for the beer but also for the ambience, the music, the service, the beer selection,...Sper good fromages to eat. The prices are good for Paris. A hoighly recommended place in Paris. A ’must’
