Lovely monastery grounds with a gift shop and a taproom/restaurant. They have all the La Trappe beers on premises and offer tours. The food is great, and the servers are good. The monks walk around and work around the brewery/monastery.

This place was fun. Nestled in the the south Holland countryside, this Trappist monastery is brimming with life. Inside the church grounds in the beer hall. Very rustic, open fireplaces and wooden tables. Service was great, beer severs spoke both dutch and English and made our time very easy. Selection was amazing considering they had every single beer of theirs available for consumption including older batches of the oak aged quads. Food was amazing, we had the onion soup and a huge American style hamburger. The price was a bit on the steep side for the food but the beer was fair. All in all, it was everything I though it would. A must if you are in south Holland.

Great brewery tour. They have quite a few beer styles compared to other Trappist breweries e.g. wite beer. Also liked the restaurant and a friendly souvenir shop. Although itís not my favorite Trappist beer a must visit if you are in the area.

This is my favourite Trappist brewery, so I was extremely happy to visit this place. Unfortunately no chance for brewery tour. May be next time.

Great shop with all kinds of stuff from La Trappe, also abbey food, snacks and other stuff. I had some questions about some beers and the lady behind the counter got a hold of one of the monks and he answered my questions.
Service is super and they are super friendly.
Tasting room is next to the brewery, abbey and shop and looks very clean and neat. Nice interior, tasty brews and friendly staff. Very nice and beautiful surroundings. Located in beautiful surroundings and close to the highway, you can get there easily. I am proud to have such Trappist abbey in the Netherlands!

Very nice location with the old monastery right next to the tasting room. Very nice terrace to enjoy the La Trappe selection outside in the sun. Decorated tastefully with modern interpretation of the wood and brick history. Very respectful yet open for lots of tourists. Good waiters and prices are in line with your expectations. Nice visit. Didnít try the food but that looked good too.

I visited during the summer, on a warm sunny day. A bit difficult to find if you follow the GPS so I recommend reading their instructions on their website for the last part of your journey. Very nice place, although crowded you could walk around and find a quiet spot to sit. The bar/restaurant seemed very professional and had something of a german beer garden. Near the entrance was the shop with products made at the monastery and all the La Trappe beers available, also no limit on their Oak Aged Batches.
