In the downtown area. Nice restaurant with a good variety of foods on the menu. Ate in bar so luckily was able to see beer list (it wasn’t fully listed on the restaurant side). Server really knew the beers and was able to give us full descriptions. Nice place.

Went with my bowling team to the brewery. One thing that was annoying was no list of the beers available for us to look at and the 1st waiter did not seem to have much knowledge. Overall most beer were simply okay but not all that memorable with the exception of the Coffee Black Angus Stout and the Marley VSOP. 2nd server was much better than the 1st. No IPA’s or wheat beers on tap, 3 different stouts.

Second (and last) stop while snowed in in Lafayette. Nice place; not a huge selection, but the beer was solid, and the staff were nice. Good value too. Worth a stop.

Stopped here for a lunch and a few beers. Awesome IPA and porter. Loved the Barley wine. This is a fun place and great feel and look. Terffic brewery and pub.

Nice downtown location (small antique shops on the same block) with a fair amount of free on-street parking available at Thursday dinnertime. It looked to be a meeting place for local families and a few brought in small children. Dining and tavern areas separated. Beverage lineup limited to beer and wine (it doesn’t have a liquor license). Five seasonals on tap to accompany about another half-dozen year-round selections. All were explained in detail by first person to serve us--very nice touch. But we weren’t offered dessert. Who doesn’t do that?

Stopped in for lunch. Bison burger was very good. Staff very knowledgeable about their beer. Had the Eastside Bitter which was good and a 5 ounce Oatmeal Stout which was a bit better.

Came to LBC on a hot and lazy Friday afternoon in July for lunch and beer. Place was not very busy, and servers were attentive, friendly, and helpful when it came to helping us figure out where we should park to visit the campus of Purdue University across the river. Another creative-reuse-of-space building in a downtown area, not particularly innovative, but not over the top, either. Beer selection was good, had seven samples. Food was really outstanding, though; had the "True Blue" burger and it was out of this world. I’d say it is _absolutely_ worth the stop if in Lafayette/at Purdue, and/or if you’d like lunch on your way from Chicago to Indianapolis as we were, it is too. But it’s like many other brewpubs in many other places, so don’t go hours out of your way, either.

Great food. A little pricey as with most brew pubs. Great beers and nice atmosphere.

Ah the place that pretty much started my love of brewpubs.

Such a local denizen. A bit of a tired interior is glorified with some gold trim. There’s a decent selection and generally helpful servers. The beers are mediocre and somewhat all over the map. Prices are very fair. This is a hard place to get excited about or disappointed with. Not really something to drive out of the way for, but a good place to stop if you’re in Lafayette. They have some bottles for sale.
