60 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 11/20
Visited 28 November 2013. Not a bad beer list but nearly everything is priced at €4.00 with the exception of the lambics and some of the Trappists which were more. I was there in the evening and the atmosphere was more conducive to listening to music than drinking beer. The music was loud but good.

74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20
We (me & Loz) visited here Saturday 9th June 2012. The outside small seated terrace area was busy but we managed to locate a couple of chairs, it was a bit squashed as the chairs were rather rammed together but it was nice to be able to sit in the sunshine and watch the world go by. Located in what I would suggest is a very busy area for bars and nightlife this stands out for a very decent beer selection many of which were reasonably priced though the Rochefort 10 at €5.50 was a full two euros more expensive than it was at the ’Eilandje (probably spelt wrong) however to be fair many of the other beers were very reasonable and the choice also included Westvleteren of which I saw someone opposite drinking a bottle so it is definitely available here, in fact all there were listed. The inside appeared a little more musical with a record deck set up near the bar, service was pretty good, choice as mentioned very decent and I enjoyed this bar, maybe not as much as ’Eilandje but it was still a worthwhile visit.

94 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 19/20
A Jazz bar with a limited but excellent selection of beer focused on trappists, gueuzes and saisons. Some really uncommon beers can be found here. Well chosen jazz music and jazzmen portraits hanging on the walls create a laid-back ambiance perfect for a beer tasting, a philosophical discussion or both. Service is welcoming, friendly and efficient. Recommended by the folks over at the Bistronoom. Dank u wel!
