The guys showed us great hospitality and shared some great beers nand even a free glass on the RBSG tour!

You actually visit the industrial compound of the brewery. Do not expect a brew pub or beer bar, you are at the factory and the tastings are in a small, cozy, second floor room. I arrived late , and could not do the tour. However, the staff (Ron) was very nice, and he let us sample the beers and gave us a couple of bottles to take home. They are actually opening a brew pub next thurdsay so things will change a lot.

Great brewery, a little hard to find. Make sure to be there at three for the tour (we got there early and had to go to a local sports bar until the tour started). They are very accomodating in the tasting room, giving you samples and anything else they have on tap. The tour guide was also very knowledgable about the beers (she knew the hop varieties for all of the beers). The facility is small, but you can tell they have a lot of fun. A must visit!

Extremely hard place to find with a GPS, and then kind of tough to find the area for the tour once you get in there, but oh that tour! Easily the best brewery tour I’ve ever been on, and the only one (besides Rogue I guess) that lets you in on the ground floor. The tour guide was incredibly friendly and informative, and gave us a ton of free samples, including Hairy Eyeball and Hop Stoopid. Lots of free pretzels as well. One of the employees was a Eugene native, so we hit it off immediately and had a great talk about home. Also picked up a case of bombers of Hop Stoopid for barely over 2 bucks per bottle. I will visit this place anytime I’m in NorCal again.

April 2008 We popped in on this industrial micro unannounced and at least an hour off their advertised tour timeline. But nonetheless, we were greeted with warm receptiveness and an impromptu short tour of their bulging-at-the-seems brewery. What a friendly crowd! An original micro, growing so much they’re stretching their waist size, but still living up to the small guy cool factor (What we wished Sierra Nevada was like). All the way nice. Lagunitas is now officially my default Fridge IPA. Way to go. (Brewery #456, 4/10/2008)

Really good times and a good brewery tour, they give you huge samples of pretty much everything they’ve got on tap or in bottles, they don’t mind if you get ridiculously soused, they are concientious and cool as well, really cool atmosphere and bigger than I had expected. On top of all that, they gave bikesanbeer a free carboy on the tour, how cool is that? Awesome.

Their brewery tour is not to be missed. It’s a pretty typical mid-size brewery but they have a great tasting loft, they have been known to pull out some vintage stuff, they’re a great bunch of guys, and their singular focus is getting everyone on the tour smashed. Actually I’m not sure if that last bit is a positive or a negative but every time I’ve been there, I’ve had a blast.

Stephanie was great. Cool place to sit and drink. Good tour and some really good samples of beer. Hard to find, but definately worth a visit.

We got there about 2 minutes before they closed...they were cool and let us hang upstairs and have some beers....I don’t think I’d call it essential, but if you are on the way to Russian River from SF, it is worth a stop.

Me and a few buddies showed up to this place as stop 3 of 6 on a brewery tour of the North Bay. We had a pre-arraigned appointment so they were expecting us. The people there were great and showed us around the whole facility. Even got to smell some of the hops and talk to the guys on the conveyer line. The best part was the loft/lounge in there warehouse. We pulled up to the bar where we enjoyed several samples of their regular and seasonal ales. They were poured in plastic cups, but hey, they were free! Many of the brews we sampled were outstanding. Probably the coolest place we visited on our several stops in Sonoma and Marin counties.
