I had a great time at this brewery as I participated in both a tour, and an industry night party. As for the tour, it was excellent. The guide was knowledgeable, funny, and an extremely hospitable guy. The tour itself begins in a bar that is put together like a barn house attic complete with old couches and rustic wooden tables. In this comfortable homey atmosphere the tour guide lets you sample one by one generous pours of six of their beers while giving you some history of the brewery. After the drinking is done you are taken on a walking tour around the brewing tanks and finally back to the attic bar where you can relax. Best of all, the tour and beer are free.
As for the industry party, it also was free and it included all the beer on tap one could drink as well as complimentary chips and salsa, cookies, and fried pickles from a non brewery affiliated pickle truck. Despite being free I tipped generously, as I suggest all do when given free drinks.
Other details worth noting are there is a large patio area where we drank during the industry party, a shop to buy beer and clothes which we looked in, and a pub which was not open during our stay.

Stopped by Labor Day afternoon. I soon found out that they were doing an out door concert and the places was packed. Really good vibe though. Took forever to get a drink (but given the crowd I was not surprised). Friendly atmosphere. Really good beers (served in big mugs or in sample sizes). A few barrel aged beers that were very tasty (BA Cappuccino Stout and Brandy Barrel Hairy Eyeball) as well as stand byes such as Hop Stoopid. All in all it was a great stop!

On a sunny day, the beer garden here is probably the coolest place to hang out that I have been to in America so far. Like Bavaria come to Northern CA. Lovely place, with all kinds of activities going on, decent food, lots of inexpensive beers to choose from, fun, fun fun. The beer selection is limited to their stuff, though there were like 15 on tap. If I lived nearby, Iíd hang here whenever the weather was nice.

Good times. We hit the tap room after a long day of exploring san fran on the way to wine country. There was a battle of the bands event - so was loud and busy at first. Plenty of room though with lots of outside seating. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Nothing crazy rare on tap - but maybe 3 I hadnít had before. Had a pizza sandwich that was good. Overall a cool brewery exprience.

Stopped by here on our way to Russian River, right off the highway its worth seeing to see the sheer size of the their operation, really surprised me... Big patio with tons of seating, inside a bit corny and drab... They had mostly widely available brews but did have 3 one offs to tick, average quality as to be expected. Light snack fare for free, but had some of the best salsa and avocado Iíve had. Service was bad, slow and inattentive. Go but have low expectations as I did and youíll have fun.

Nice place. Tour includes some cool information. Food was good, beer was GREAT. You can create your own sampler sets which is nice. People were friendly, service was fairly good. Nice gift shop as well.

This place was great! Very nice patio with live music! Bar has lots of taps! We made our own taster set which is UN common. The atmosphere was so awesome! service is sort of lacking but it was busy lunch on Saturday and they were still very friendly. The free tours were awesome one @ 1 & @3pm. Visited the store and all of the souvenirs are priced very reasonable! Food was fantastic, the simple sandwich menu makes it easy to pick from and the prices of beer and food are very affordable, you can have lots of fun for little$!

I ran into this place after a business meeting in the area. Iím a huge fan of Lucky 13 but after an hour or so in the bar realized some of their best beers donít make it to the bottle or any other bar for that matter. Didnít try the food but some of their wood aged beers (Farmhouse gueze) were awesome. Great outside seating and my service was great.

Was a little intoxicated from a previous stop at Russian River but Lagunitas was a pretty cool place. They had a few buildings on the property. One with the gift shop, one for tours, and a large tasting room/restaurant. The staff was a touch slow but they were busy. They brought you pretzels and peanuts which is great for cleansing the palate. My wife had some chili that was ok from what I tasted of it. It look like they had a stage for live music but nothing was going on that day. I would stop by to check it out again.
