This place was great! Very nice patio with live music! Bar has lots of taps! We made our own taster set which is UN common. The atmosphere was so awesome! service is sort of lacking but it was busy lunch on Saturday and they were still very friendly. The free tours were awesome one @ 1 & @3pm. Visited the store and all of the souvenirs are priced very reasonable! Food was fantastic, the simple sandwich menu makes it easy to pick from and the prices of beer and food are very affordable, you can have lots of fun for little$!

I ran into this place after a business meeting in the area. Iím a huge fan of Lucky 13 but after an hour or so in the bar realized some of their best beers donít make it to the bottle or any other bar for that matter. Didnít try the food but some of their wood aged beers (Farmhouse gueze) were awesome. Great outside seating and my service was great.

Was a little intoxicated from a previous stop at Russian River but Lagunitas was a pretty cool place. They had a few buildings on the property. One with the gift shop, one for tours, and a large tasting room/restaurant. The staff was a touch slow but they were busy. They brought you pretzels and peanuts which is great for cleansing the palate. My wife had some chili that was ok from what I tasted of it. It look like they had a stage for live music but nothing was going on that day. I would stop by to check it out again.

One of my favorite tasting rooms. Foodís not the best, but youíre hopefully not going for that. Always a good selection of tap-room only drafts and generally very good live music on the weekends.

This is an updated rating. The first time I visited three years ago it was an unpleasant experience. This past time, however, the place was clean, the people were fun, the music was great, and the beer was both fully stocked on the taps and fresh as could be. Now one of my favorite places to visit when in Northern CA.

Pretty cool place. Petaluma is not a big city, but I was happy to stop at Lagunitas on the way back from Russian River; I recommend you do that if you visit Russian River, by the way. Anyways, a band was playing the night my brother and I visited. There was this building on the left, which was the brewery, and then a path lead to a "beer garden" type area (where the band was playing). Walking through that you hit a somewhat small open bar area. They had Ryanís Folly on tap, Sour Trifecta (which I donít see listed as a Lagunitas beer), and some other beers, such as W.T.F. Service was fairly nice. I am glad they still adhere to the old peanuts and pretzel courtesy. Served some of their drinks in jars. I wasnít overly impressed or anything, but if visiting it is definitely worth paying a visit and grabbing some Lagunitas beers that arenít generally available.

Had a great time at the Lagunitas Brew Pub. sat outside in the pleasantly decorated beer garden. There was a decent band playing mostly covers, and Little Sumpiní Extra on tap. The small room with the beer, seemed like an afterthought, but the beer (even if servend in a plastic cup), and the ambiance outside more than made up for it. Selection was small, and entirely made up of Lagunitas if I recall correctly.

Visited on august 16, 2009. The new pub is not finished, but they are serving beer (kitchen should open in a few months..they where serving warmed hot-dogs for 5$). I was told this will be a quite modern place, with heated seats for winter months....but right now, it is still makeshift, but very promising. They do offer a sampler of their regular beers, but, asking very nicely, i managed to get the seasonals and one-offs, alas in plastic 5 on cups...free peanuts, live music on the terrasse, friendly service by tattooed maidens...its all good.

Within walking distance from work, we had always dreamed of a day when we could go over for a beer after work. Now its here, with their new patio. Nicely landscaped yard with a small stage for bands to play. They had at least 7 beers on tap and another 5-6 in bottles avail. Sassy but quick waitress kept em coming. $4/12 oz plastic cup was better than the $5 I was expecting. Someone had a bad sandwich, but they are remodeling and adding a kitchen as I type this. They also have comp peanuts & pretzels. So my food review should change shortly. Since my initial review, they have added sandwiches, nachos and other foods...all pretty good with nice low prices. They now have great glasses instead of plastic cups. Free peanuts and pretzels! Beer garden is always packed and lively with bands and lots of talk...people often share tables with strangers and leave with new friends.. The tour is great, they keep pouring as long as you keep drinking. Sometimes they pull out some pretty cool/unexpected stuff.

Before visiting lagunitas during RBSG, I was admittedly on the fence about there beers. I still just think that they are OK to good, but damn, I love the brewery. The little patio setup is very relaxing, and we got one of the most fun tours ever. If you thought the Censored (Kronic) label was telling, just wait until you see the brewery. They also have an amazingly high-tech and awesome looking brew system that is really cool to check out if you are into the more technical side of things. Walking through everything is like exploring a steel cave. Iím still trying to figure out how they got all that stuff in there. Nice guys too, and they put out a great spread of complimentary beers for us.
