Went specifically for the once-a-week environmental tour with the President. Jam packed tour, lots of people doing the Riverwalk brewery thing. Very large place, and lots of staff helped ease the crush, as well as the slightly laid back nature of the locals. Corny tour, but hey we like corny jokes. very generous with pouring lots of beers on tap to taste. Very nice area with tables in back to complete the tour. A good deal, lots of tours available. One bartender really knew his stuff and that’s the one I stayed near for recommendations and knowledge.

I was among the first to tour Lakefront back in the River west days. I had not been back to the brewery since the move to the river, but my goodness, what a change. The facility is tremendous. Beautifully done, and the wit, personality and class of the original is still maintained. Many thanks to the KiIsch’s for their contribution to Milwaukee.

Hilarious tour - just a great time. 5 beers on tap. Cool building.

A really great beer tour, well worth money. You get four samples of beer plus a coupon for a full pour afterwards at several local establishments. If you go on Friday, you can take a tour and stay for a fish fry.

Big warehouse style brewery with a few bar areas thoughout. This place is all about the tour. I’ve been on boring brewery tours before but I’ve got to say this one is a lot of fun. Our tour guide was hilarious and you could tell he really enjoyed what he did. You get a lot of beer and a glass for the admission price and it’s a great deal if you ask me. All the beer seemed solid with some being excellent. This place is a blast.

Location on the river with the backdrop of decaying buildings. The brewery itself, as well as the grounds, are well kept. There is a nice patio in back for tastings in the summertime, and beer is also available for those not on the tour. I was turned away for the tour because it was sold out, but I was 30 minutes early so this was a surprise. Staff were friendly. No special beers were available.

The building was nice and open. The only thing that sucked about the evening that I went was that there was a party of 150+ people. This place is trying to model itself after a German-style beer hall. The beers are decent. The service was fairly decent, after that huge party left. The food was tasty. There are no real complaints about this place. Obviously, they only serve Lakefront brews. I didn’t go on the tour because I’ve been on more than enough beer tours.

A fun place to share a few beers. The tour was pretty good and included four beers. They had about 5 things on tap when I was there.

first time i’ve ever been in there. 4 taps and pretty much all available beers in bottles. Good service, and a great price, but no food.

I’ve done the tour and the fish fry at lakefront, and both are certainly recommended. The building is a little hard to find, but has a nice location tucked against the river. You get to drink before, during, and after the tour, which is short, informal, and funny. The fish fry was excellent and the polka band provided entertainment. Most of Lakefront’s brews are available.
