Love visiting Lancaster Brewing Company every time I travel to the outlets. Great, drinkable beer in the perfect setting for a brewpub

Seems like everyone in our party enjoyed the food and their hand crafted brews. Seems like this place is worth the stop, I paid $10 for 10 - 5 ounce samples in the beer sampler - a very good price. Service seemed alright, however the waitress was pretty unaware of beer lingo. A friend asked for an IPA and she wondered what that was...

came here and had the sampler which I thought was well done and very cheap. Neat brick building and atmosphere with a great staff running the place. Really hard to find anything bad here.

The building is a big old brick warehouse kind of place that begs to be a lot of things, and one is a brewpub. The service was very good, the menu wasnít huge but very adequate and the brew selection was a bit larger than most brewpubs. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

If your are in Lancaster worth a stop. Good food, service, and value, and some of there more hard to find brews.

My family and I have been coming to this place since it originally opened as Lancaster Malt Brewing Co., probably 15 years ago. We mosr recently visited 8/30 and 8/31 for lunch and dinner. There were 9 of their beers on tap; 6 of their standard beers and 3 seasonals. Nice old building that has retained much of its character. The copper-covered tables are neat. Very good diverse menu. I had the fish and chips for dinner, which was very good. Nice big piece of fish. For lunch the next day, I had the ahi tuna salad with sesame seeds, which was also quite good. Parking can sometimes get a little tricky, and the building is bordered on one side by a one way street, which can be a pain. Overall enoyable and worth the visit.

Stopped here on our way through to NYC from Pgh. Got the sampler and found the Amish four grain pale ale and Strawberry Wheat to be quite good. The Milk Stout was superb as expected. Loved the dark feel of the place - reminded me of an old country pub. Food was decent - I think I had chicken sandwich and fries.

This is my local bar so I might be a little baised. The food is typical bar food, but the white bean nachos on Thurs for $5 are great, so are the cheap growler fills on Wed. It gets crowded on the weekends, but during the week it is not bad.

My mom wanted to visit Amish country; I wanted to drink; this fits the bill on both counts, being in the heart of the plain peopleís territory. Lancaster itself is not terribly exciting as a city, sorta rundown and post-industrial, but this is a really terrific find in a typical old converted factory a half-mile or so from downtown. Food is just a bit on the upscale side for a brewpub, and quite solid if a bit too amply portioned for most normal humans. Iím really a fan of the beer, especially the milk stout and the Gold Star Pils, one of the best pils Iíve had, period. Prices are good, samplers reasonable, and the ambiance is cool...most of the dining area looks down on the brewery a level below, kinda neat. Worth going a bit out of your way for.
