Yup, it doesn’t get much better. Ambiance is not much...a small warehouse with beer still in the crates. Hard to evaluate the service, as most of the folks who operate the place don’t speak English, so I’ve never asked for (or needed) any help. Visited briefly back in 2011 but didn’t feel right rating it that time. Now living here for a month and thus visiting the store almost daily. The prices are insanely cheap compared to any bar or restaurant, as you might expect...the average price is under a euro per bottle...I always get about 10 bottles and it’s always just under 10 euros. It’s all smaller-brewery stuff, unlike Mekka...you won’t see Beck’s and Tucher and such here. Not all the breweries are *good*, of course, but at least there’s no wasted space for the macro and near-macro breweries. They have three associated bars in the area as well (two south of old town, one out in Fuerth), so if you don’t have the means to lug bottles away you can go sit and drink a lot of these brewers’ wares instead (mostly in bottle form).

a gem of a store - likely the best selection of Franconian beer in one location. rows of crates, each bottle is about 80 cent euro, with most organized by style, and seasonal bock bier located at the front. a lot of glassware and steinkrugs to purchase, as well as shirts and bags and whatnot. we were able to purchase a 20-bottle cardboard box for 3 euro to fill up and check home.

What a hell of a beershop! You get there and you really don’t know what to buy for the selection is so large! I spent a lot of time inside there, ending up with 7 bottles which costed me less than 7€, something unbelievable for the prices I’m used to in Italy. A MUST stop in Nürnberg! Large selection of bierkrug, too.

Awesome place, knew there’d be a lot of glass- and stoneware going in, but was still surprised at the level. There’s the main wall, but the runner near the ceiling circles the whole place. Quite happy with the selection, tons of countryside breweries and even a few I hadn’t heard of, though it’s clear they aren’t trying to assemble a comprehensive assortment. Bottles are all fresh and service was great! And prices hover in the 70-80 cent range, which is really hard to beat. I plan to do some internet business with them in the future.

Holy fucking shit. This is a landbier paradise. Racks of weizen for 13,50 euro and other beer racks for 11 or 12 euro if I remember correctly. We showed up and asked for one of everything in the store and the employees were very helpful in making sure we didn’t get duplicates and that we were taken care of. In total, we walked out of the store with six racks of completely different, small Franconian brewery beers- probably one of weizenbier, one of pils, four of kellerbier and helles- and after taxes and pfand, our total bill for six racks of beer was 102,00 euro. Fuck yeah. The glass collection was out of this fucking world. Masskrug from many of these tiny breweries around Franconia. I nearly shit my pants when I walked in, to be honest. I hope to be back in the future.

Best one-stop shopping for Keller/Zwickel/Landbier - Have a nice selection of other local beer styles all separated and as with most German Getraenkemarkts, you can buy singles of all the beers. There are a few parking spots out front (which for the area is very nice) - you will want to drive here or at least take a Taxi.

Landbierparadies might just be the neatest bottle shop I have ever stepped into. A store solely devoted to a region that produces a dizzying array of magical low-gravity beers which often requires a visit to the brewery to obtain such beers? Extraordinary! With an overall stellar attention to detail, dust-free bottles (I looked at just about every bottle in the store, and none were past their "best by" date), cool temperatures, and a well-organized layout of the store, this place will make you feel like a 9-year-old kid at a gargantuan toy store with grandma and a blank check. Nice easy ten-minute walk from the train station makes it super convenient, and with the average bottle costing around €1.20, it simply does not get any better. So damn refreshing is it that a place like this exists in the world! Absolutely a must-stop while in Nurnberg.

Specialized on beers from small Franconian breweries. Does not follow a completist approach - hardly possible in this region rich in breweries - but still with a very good range of beers that can spare you a lot of travel. Some other Franconian products on offer as well. Several rows of beer cases, grouped by producer - no further information is offered. It takes some time to go through the assortment and assemble your purchase, especially when you don’t know in advance what you want. So bring some time when you go!
Beers can be bought by the case or by the bottle, and there are some parking places in front of the store. It is also not far away from the main train station.
this is apparently the place to go if you are looking for Franconian beers. You won’t find beers from further away, though.
