Loved this airport bar for one reason: low low prices! Prices would be not-bad in the outside world, but in an airport itís unbelievable to get a pint for $4. Ambiance is OK, you might almost forget that you are in the airport. Bar guy was friendly if a bit tightly wound. You can get flights (of beers) and growlers. Beers were too cold and unremarkable even upon warming. Had some chili, it was edible. If there were a special category for airport bars, this would be near the top, for whatever thatís worth.
An airport bar in one of the smaller terminals at PDX, but plenty of seating depending on time. Service was quick and friendly, actually knew what they had on tap. 8 or so beers on tap, with flights available, and to go options, which is cool at an airport after security. Decently priced for an airport. Better than the Rogue one in my opinion.
Morning visit Friday July 3, 2015. Between gate E2 and E4 at PDX. Had breakfast before my flight. 5 standard beer and seems some seasonals. Sampler tray, various draught sizes, even growler fills. Also some bottles for purchase. Really not bad for an airport!
Pretty nice, but just an airport bar still. Service was pretty good, but not amazing. Selection was limited, but it was all new to me. Prices were a bit high, standard airport prices. Overall, ok for location.
Great airport bar. We were a little pushed for time, so had to rush the nice food and sampler tray. Itís a bar in an airport, but felt like a nice place to spend some time. Nice that they offer a big selection of their beers and seasonals too. Food was very nice. Good value too. Same prices as their in-town location. Extra points for that!
Stopped for breakfast before plane leaving to New York and Helsinki. Breakfast menu was very english type with egg and bacon. Egg, bacon, mushrooms and tomato. Egg, bacon, spam, mushrooms and spam. Spam, bacon, egg and spam. Spam, spam and bacon. But it was OK. 4 regular beer on tap 4 seasonal. Very good airport beer bar from my point of view.
