Impressive architecture, even more impressive beer selection.

When I visited: Fall 2011. What I bought: Great Lakes Miami Weiss, Central City Red Racer IPA, Les Trois Mousquetaires Porter Baltique, other beers. What I liked: Best retail beer selection in the province along with the Cooper Street and 401 & Weston LCBOs. What I disliked: The variety doesn’t even remotely compare to what you can purchase at private specialty stores down south and in other parts of Canada, but it’s good by Ontario standards. Would I go back? Yes. Overall Rating: 68

The best of the LCBO’s. Usual sterile LCBO ambiance. Staff is fairly helpful though most of them know wine and wine alone. if it’s a beer and the LCBO carries it, it’s likely here. Virtually all the seasonals and special releases the ’BO carries will be here. Prices are uniform with all other store meaning imports are cheaper than they are in the US.

Best LCBO ? perhaps. Great proces , solid selection. LCBO like service , proper but cold. Ambiance was great due to location of this store.

At least 3 trappists when I was there along with plenty of german beers including a great smoked one. Not really sure if this is the one under the bridge or what, though. Did it move?

Biggest selection of beer of all the LCBOs I’ve seen. Tons of Ontario micbrobrews, and tons of imports. But more American craft brews would be nice. Friendly staff.

As nice a liquor store as I’ve ever been in. Well-merchanidized, lots of samplings being done throughout the store (I had a fine pair of scotches when I was in). There was a lot of the selection from the LCBOs inventory including lots of cold-storage as well.

I was really looking forward to this location and was a bit dissapointed. The place is definately beautiful. Vast, larger then huge. Everything about this building was stellar, so what made me dissapointed? The selection at least that night was poor. Given the size of the Wine, Scotch and liquor areas the beer section was no bigger then a regular LCBO. Queen’S Quay is a better spot for brews.

One of the better LCBO’s but not as good as Queen’s Quay in terms of beer selection. Service is mediocre, it’s the LCBO. Prices on trappists are INSANELY CHEAP, I have picked up 750ml of Chimay Red for $6.50, Westmalle Tripel and Dubbel for $3.50, Orval for $3.75. Hit or miss, the good stuff usually sells out VERY fast because it’s so cheap. The rest of the stuff is pricy (Victory Prima or Dogfish 60 Minute ~$15 for a sixer.) Location is extremely nice, old train station.

A store. A good store in a nice refurbished railway station. The building itself is the best of all the place. A good selection of wines, beers and spirits. Beers, most macros, many of them. Few micros. Poor display. They display beer as if it were soap. Wine: as a chilean I must regret they have a poor selection of chilean wines. But strangely, some chilean wines cost less than in Chile! (maybe because of trade agreements and taxes).
