I think the ’train-station’ beats this location hands down.

Is there anyone who travels to Ontario just to shop at the LCBO? No, I didn’t think so. But if you’re here you might as well check out the selection. Some interesting domestic and imported beers are available year-round. Special, limited releases occur quarterly, with some gift packs available before Christmas. A product search function is offered on the website but is not always useful or complete. Feel free to ask the staff for help, but don’t expect much. The LCBO buys and ships in bulk, so prices are very low, particularly for imports. The Queens Quay store doesn’t really stand out anymore. Other stores near the Summerhill, Davisville, Royal York, and Bayview subway stations are also good and may be more convenient.

Yeah, it's kinda pathetic, but it's the best we've got. I've had better luck than some with the staff, and have found two different staffers who actually seem to know a bit about beer.

Compared with real beer stores, LCBO blows. Staff no nothing about beer (ok, there is one guy). Shelves are arranged so neatly - real beer stores have bottles stacked everywhere. Best in Canada, sadly.
