Nice small bar off the beaten path. Had a better bottle menu then tap. Even had a seperate Westvleteren menu upon request - with many vintage years. Also had Rodenbach Alexander and many other rare lambics. All are a bit pricey though. Dinner was very good...recommended.

A bit off the beaten path, it’s well worth a visit. The owner can be a bit gruff, but they have a nice bottle and tap selection. It’s a nice quite place to enjoy a proper beer Belgian beer in a proper glass.

Actually came here in March with another RBer. Sat at the bar, ordered a Gueuze and meat loaf. good food, owner didn’t want to give us ice-water. seemed pretty unpleasant that we were asking for a menu. Maybe he hates Americans but no big deal, I still had a nice time.

Very good place to share a very good beer at the bar and to have a good plate at the restaurant.

A nice place a little outside of the main tourist traps. The restaurant area is to the left and there is a bit more seating than other places, and it was particularly sleepy on a Wednesday night. The server took a long time and our glasses sat empty a bit despite him walking by the table often (just not making eye contact with us). The food is simple and well prepared and there is a nice bottle list, particularly with some aged selections. The clown decor is a bit amusing.

Situated aroud 5 mins uphill from Centraale station this is a large restaurant with separate bar area. Sat in the main restaurant and tried a couple of draft beers plus food. Had a special beer on to celebrate 21 years. Food was excellent. Nice feel to the place, wasn’t too busy and decent beer range. Worth a look.

This place is located in the centre of Brussels. NIce atmosphere. We sat outside, so I didn’t really get a chance to look inside. Service was really good. Friendly bartender. Fast service, despite what previous comments say. The selection of beers is certainly OK, but nothing really special you wouldn’t find at a specialised beer shop. The small vintage list is nice though. But prices are a bit high and I have no idea of the amount they actually still have of it. The food really really wasn’t good. The "waterzooi" of fish was prefabricated, dry, overcooked, there was some sand in it. Really not nice. I had the Vol-au-vent with stoemp. Vol-au-vent clearly wasn’t homemade as they claim (wasn’t the case with the Waterzooi as well) and was just plain boring to eat. The stoemp was nice, but not as smooth and impressive as I hoped. Prices are pretty OK. Overall I wouldn’t go back to this place to eat, perhaps to have a beer, but not for food. TO EVERYONE VISITING BRUSSELS, give me a heads up, I’d love to trade/share some bottles!
