Cozy dark brown bar with a lot of strange decor including many old hand dolls. Big selection of Belgian bottles with nothing out of the ordinary. Good prices for central Brussels.

Literally across the street from manneken pis (yeah, thatís really it, I swear). This place is quite kitsch, but has some appeal because of it. Quite a large place decent amount of seating. I believe it used to be listed as a restaurant but got changed to a bar, in either case they do serve full meals of albeit not fancy, cozy food. Service was a bit slow and looked understaffed but I was able to get a beer in a reasonable time. Selection is nothing to write home to mother about, the usual Belgian suspects with a few lambics throughtout for the hardcore beer tourists who refuse to drink anything else while in Belgium I drank an Orval which was very fresh and very nice. Prices are high, as you can expect from such a touristy part of town, but not the worst in the area - they are still reasonable. If pub hopping, this is definitely not a bad stop.

Wonderful cafe with bags of atmosphere and charm and an excellent, well-chosen beer menu.

Just next to Manneken Pis. The real show while pouring the beer and a very good choice too. I went there with my Swedish friend who knew nothing of craft beers and he ordered a Heineken - the waiter shouted at him: Heineken?! You are in Belgium!

Visited October 2011/ November 2014. Great bottle selection, including local De La Senne, from tap as well. The funkiest, quirkiest decor youíll ever see - would recommend this place only for the vibe, but thankfully, the beer selection and service are also worth it.

A not so well hidden gem in the heart of Brussels. A short walk from Grand Place and just a few metres from the Mannekin Pis. It looks like a junk shop to be perfectly honest which is probably where most of the stuff hanging from the walls and the ceiling came from! but itís all very tastefully put together. A great selection of bottled beers, but fairly run of the mill stuff. Superb service. Sadly no wifi but I can live with that. A very relaxing place to take a beer and watch the world go by!

I love the ambiance in here. The decor is dynamic, with lots of puppets and marionettes, beer ephemera, crossbows - the usual. Theyíve got around a hundred bottles, which cover all the classics. Beyond that they have seasonals and a handful of slightly more obscure offerings. Good value, friendly table service. This is a warm, inviting place, and I could easily pass a few hours in here.
