Great friendly place to try at least 16 beers on tap. Food is pub grub, but the best it can be. The leather armchairs are a perfect relaxing life support system for a weary/cold pub crawler. Staff and patrons alike are friendly. Definitely a must visit, and return destination when in Montreal. Keep in mind that the parking sucks and the cops are dicks here, especially officer Silverman, unit 548. Officer Sissyman gave me a ticket for crossing a solid white line, even though it was impossible to see due dark of night and glare from a wet road. Thanks Officer Sissyman, hope to see you in the States.

I went at Le Saint-Bock on a Thursday afternoon. This brewpub is well located downtown Montréal (near the Berry-Uqam station). The place was comfortable and we where able to get 4 oz tasters, which is a good format to try their beers. Good selection (20 taps, including a cask), mostly of their beers but with a couple guest tap. Huge bottle lasting; nothing too fancy, but some nice bottles. Price are ok for the area. First time I went their, I didn’t even ordered a beer because if was full and noisy, but it seems to be a nice place to go early in the afternoon when it’s not too crowded.

A busy brewpub on St-Denis Street, often packed especially the outdoor seating. It has one of the larger beer selections in the area. There are 20 taps, including a cask or even a randall. Probably 7-8 taps are their own, the rest being guest taps (typically other Quebec breweries). The house beers ranged from average to good. Their more interesting styles tended to be the better ones (black saison, smoked porter, single hop series). I didn’t try any food. Service was slightly slower than is typical in Montreal, possibly because this place tends to be quite crowded. Either way, it is certainly worthy of a stop (or multiple stops) given its large beer selection.

random stop that turned out to be a big winner. 20 drafts, 8 their own beers plus a great bottle list. 5 beer samplers offered. Their beers were great across the board with inventive styles, 3 were legit 4.0 and above. Bottle list is a must to check out. Huge space, comfortable laid back feel, patio, big singular leather chairs. Service was good, helpful and knowledgable. A must stop when places like at Vices and DDC don’t open till 3 and this is open at 11 for lunch.

The best brewpub I’ve been to? Perhaps. 20 beers on tap, with no wasted taps, and a ridiculous beer bible of bottled beers including everything you could imagine from Quebec plus solid American selection and Cantillon and other Belgians. Tried the French onion soup, very good. Friendly service. (Went back again when it was busier and the services was not as good). Fabulous place.

Large Beer list ??? Yes, but when my six friends and me ask for some beers, the waitress came back saying that they don’t have it and this three times. Three times by seven equal 21 beers on 21 not in stock ??? So we stop and ask what’s in stocks. She said "all the beers on the black board". So, only local and in house beers, so we add 7 different beer that the waitress couldn’t explain the differences between them. Some local beer were good, house beers 2 was drinkable but not more and 2 others were infected, they didn’t want to replaced them. Food was ok. Won’t go back.
