Easy to find, everything below is still true. The beer is well drinkable especially liked the dark one. Not brewed on the location, the brewery is some distance out of town as he now has 6 outlets.

A nice view over Hoan Kiem Lake in the centre of Ha Noi. A tourist place. Not so Vietnamese but fairly good anyway

The first brewpub everyone visits in Hanoi. Very convenient location, and the view’s pretty good - more for the traffic than the lake itself. Very expensive for Vietnam, but I think they’ve got the best pale beer in Hanoi. Was quite underwhelmed with the food, especially for the prices. Only the two beers when I was there, like everyone else it seems. A bit of a sterile vibe, not surprising given the location I guess. Good for getting away from the heat after walking around the lake.

Great view of lake, inside and out. OKAY lager, fair Dunkel. Obnoxious smokers but no distracting TVs. Pop music CD sounds almost covered blaring traffic horns. Friendly staff with good English proficiency. Wheelchair accessible via lift. Reasonable prices. Ex. $2 500ml mug. Must check back for Weizen and Munich.

Surprisingly civilized from the inside in spite of seeming a generic characterless modern brewpub. Unbeatable location with wrap-around outdoor patio overloking Hoan Kiem lake and surrounding hustle and bustle. Friendly staff. Free WiFi. One TV inside for sports. Reasonably priced. Local crowd. Beer is served at good temperature, not too cold. Above average quality but only two were available when we were there (lager and dunkel).

I was here a couple of times as I was staying not far away in the Hoan Kiem district. The outside area is pleasant to watch the hustle and bustle of the city streets below, and with the stifling humidity filling the streets the beers went down extremely quickly. I wouldn’t go for the food as it’s crappy fried everything, and there’s so many excellent restaurants around the city. But do stop by for the beers, and being in a central location it’ll probably be your first stop anyway.

Central location with view to Hoan Kiem Lake. Legend Beer has actually three locations in Hanoi. Place is in the second floor of corner building. Food was ok. Service average. A bit rundown feeling. Beers were brewed to "typical" Vietnamese-Czech-German style.

Outlet for Legend Beer brewed at the brewpub in Đống Đa. An upstairs restauarnt overlookin Hoàn Kiếm lake in central Hanoi. As more or less every beer establishment in Hanoi the personell seem to outnumber the guests, so service is rapid. The beer is German style and pretty well made.

Right at the center of Hanoi ina very busy junction. Its worth a visit just for the junction. The beer is ok - but reminds me a lot of Apollo (Copenhagen) - too much butter.
