We visited this place in summer 2006 during our first beer tour in California. Was quite hard to find the location. Beers were Above average and service is very friendly.

Visited over Thanksgiving weekend on the way to the bay area.

This place is pretty out of the way as far as being on a main street goes. Very large interior, nice service, average beers, and decent food. The real reason I’d go back is for the chipotle rub. I love that stuff. The smoked salt and pepper are ok. Didnt try the other thing they had.

Large warehouse space in a small business park. Decent amount of seating at the large bar area and a lot of tables, too. The service was fairly quick and friendly. The prices seemed average for beer and maybe a little high for food. The beers were just okay. Certainly drinkable, but not great.

I enjoyed this brewery. The Centennial Ale and the Irish Red were really good. Ordered the Stinky Chili Mac and Cheese and it hit the spot. I will return to this place next time I am in Bakersfield.

pretty good a little pricey

A little pricy, but the beer is great! First time I tasted these guy a few years ago at a beer fest in Bakersfield. My have they come a long way to having their own place. Fish & chips are awesome!

Stopped in here on a recent business trip to Bakersfield. Sat at the bar and got to chatting with Rowan, one of the assistant brewers. He suggested a Centennial and man, what a suggestion, great beer. Had the fish tacos too which were very tasty. The other beers were hit or miss, but Rowan was free with the tastes of each of them, so that was really nice. Tried their Centennial, the wheat, and a seasonal brown ale. Also had a Kern river Double IPA on a guest tap. In addition they had brewing supplies on site and I picked up a can of fantastic coffee. Well worth the side trip if you’re anywhere near Bakersfield.

I’ve been here plenty of times for brews and food but also to pick up home brewing supplies. Darren and Jeff are great guys, they know there stuff but also the usual bar keeps know what they are doing as well. Food is decent but not really out of the realm of normal pub fare. There are arcades to keep the kids attention while one enjoys. TV so you can keep up on the scores. Brew is a standard 6 but seasonals are usually available some are better than others. Print yourself a map don’t ask for directions.

A real fun place to grab some brews and a burger. The Centennial and the porter are must tries. They almost always have Just Outstanding IPA on tap here to.
