A good location with good food.
There is a young crowd here and the place has a lot of energy. The staff are very friendly and the service is quick.
Ate here in August 2010.
The food is good.
My son really liked his Louisiana style pizza.
My wife and I enjoyed the pork and sauerkraut. The sauerkraut was really good, not overpowering.
The beer selections did not impress me.
We tried the sampler and the only beer that really stood out to me was the "White".
The other three selections that they called the "Blonde", "Amber" and "White" were only average.

One of the several locations throughout the city. This is in the touristy part of town in Old Montreal near the old port and the river.
I’d imagine the decor and feel to the place is not much different from the other locations. A bit like your typical Rock Bottom in the US.
The beer list is all their house beers. The regular line up and a couple of special beers/seasonals offered at a time. I didn’t care too much for most of them. Though most of them weren’t terrible. They also do beer cocktails and have a full bar. You can get a few different size of samplers from just the basics to basically everything they’ve got.
It works enough as a place to stop in a get a couple of ticks. But honestly this area was my least favorite part of Montreal, at least during the winter visit.

It’s a 3 Brasseurs so you know what you’re getting. Met an old colleague for drinks in here while I was in town for a conference. It was pretty jammed the night we were in - spotty service and a lot of confusion around the bill. The IPA is decent, the other beers are middling. The place looks good - warm light and polished copper makes sure everyone looks decent. There’s not a lot of choice for beer in Old Montreal so it’s worth a stop if you’re here, but there are much better spots in Montreal.

Ambiance - awesome atmosphere, really nice and polished copper and brass everywhere. Super neat, beautiful decor. Fun atmosphere.
Service - we spent every night returning here because the staff was really nice. They were easy going and very friendly.
Selection - is not gigantic by any means, it’s all their stuff. I will tell you they had beer cocktails, which we’re really good.
Value - everything is regulated on pour in Canada, so you get exactly what you pay for. The prices are very fair.

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime in March ’12.
Located in the touristic old port area of the town, pretty much the only beer venue of any interest we could locate whilst we did a little bit of the tourist shit.
Place was fairly busy but not rammed.
Large enough venue. Food was decent, we had the Flammekueches and cheesy frites which was decent.
house beers only, half a dozen or so on tap, no world beaters, but adequate offerings, just rated the one on this visit which was a fairly mediocre stout.
Service was decent, the guy warned us off a few beers and said don’t bother with x, y, z. I like this approach as they are trying to help, however his x, y, z ain’t neccessarily mine !
Wouldn’t go out of the way to head here if you are in Montreal for a limited time, but if you are taking in this part of town then worth dropping in.

Patio seating plus a big "old pub" feel should appeal to most. Beers are average at best, but a nice place to rest your feet and people watch. Didn’t eat.

Similaire aux autres 3 Brasseurs, bonne ambiance, bonne nourriture. Choix de bière un peu limité, mais elles se dégustent bien.

This was the smaller of two locations that they have in Montreal. The service was pretty good and the food was above par (for a tourist area). As far as craft beer goes they only have their own and maybe a couple random Canadian ones. A little pricey but not that bad compared to other places in the area. If you are in the area and want to try some good beer that you won’t find anywhere else then stop by and check it out.
