Des bières correctes, un bon service (si l’on fait abstraction du temps d’attente pour les repas qui sont parfois très longs), une courte sélection brassicole mais une bouffe excellente. Un peu cher, peut-être qu’on surfe un brin sur le "brand", mais c’est quand même un endroit agréable où on mange bien et qui fait honneur à la bière.

Small spot at St-Denis. When went there it was fairly busy , hard to find any sitting space. Beer was average at best. Service was average like their beer. With so many other locations around we did not bother staying too long.

If you are hungry on St Denis, it is worth a stop. However, it does not compare to the Crescent location. Tables are pushed way too close together, even the servers have a hard time coming through, the bar is mobbed, and the overall food and beverage quality just doesn’t live up to the other locations standards.

Like the Denny’s of brewpubs. Crappy food, Denny’s style, crappy beers like the ones I snuck into Denny’s when I was 18. I got kicked out of Denny’s back in the day (sneaking in the beers...) so I came here. Of all the places to drink beer in Montreal...it was raining and we were hungry. Whatever.

Wasn’t enthusiast to go there on invitation because I had in past visit some of their site in France. The place is well decorated. Brass tanks. Urban tavern style. Service is ok and staff are proud of the product. ( Better than in France ). Get through the white (drinkable), ambrée (so-so) and brune ( mediocre ). Wasn’t enough courageous to try the stout. On that point it’s even worst than in France. Luckely they are well situated!

This place was very congested with tables and they didn’t offer a lot of different beers. I did get the food but my friend said it was good. You can also get a meter long beer holder full of eight or so glasses bigger then samples of beer. Met some great locals at this place and got good and sloppy. You can also get a beer with a shot of tequila in it for those of us to lazy to do a shot AND a beer.

like all the other’s part of this chain, the beer is incredibly limited and somewhat boring. La Blanche is the only brew i drink from les 3 brasseurs. what makes this place different from others, is the food. i am speaking of all 3 brasseurs in general. this particular one on st. denis is my favorite of them all because of the beautiful terrasse they have. it’s on the roof and you get a nice view of the city. you can also choose to sit ground level outside or inside, where you are on st. denis street so the ambiance is incredible. in the summertime, it is the perfect place for lunch and a cold witbier!

Ambiance is nice and loudy. Free peanuts are always good to eat. Beer selection is good and those taste very good. They also have special beers that are very nice. A good place to visit in Montreal. Make a reservation if you have a group (>8).

Visited another location in Montreal off of St Catherine, I believe? A must-stop in Montreal. Go in for a pitcher ($22 CAD) of the pilsner/maple syrup whiskey blend. It’s to die for. Good burgers, sandwiches, etc. If you can get the table in the front window, do it. Great place to spend the afternoon people-watching!
