I expected sooo much more of this place. Not for the beer, but for the burgers! Even before I noticed Sebs review on here, I already wanted to visit for a long time, because their burgers are highly spoken of. A saturday afternoon around 2PM I finally payed them a visit. Nice looking interior. Cool vibe. Lots of families enjoying their saturday lunch. The gay waiter was really quick with the menu, and we got our drinks in no time. The guy was very unfriendly though, no please/thank you. I asked if they could change a small thing about our burger, but that just wasn’t possible, because he was to f*cking lazy to ask the chef. Really no good service. Burger was decent, nice beef, (slighly) overcooked... Fries were cold. So we asked for hot fries, which we got, after we finished our meal, and it were clearly or own fries, they threw in the frying kettle for another minute. Really horrible fries... Value was OK. Overall: nice place, but it would get soooo much better if they hired friendly staff and a cook that can make a well cooked burger (after all, that’s the only hard thing about his job)...

Place located at Place Flagey, stop at tram 71 or bus 81. Ok, so you might wonder why this place? A beer geek parlor? no, but a great food experience with some nice beers!
Two taps; one pils and other was Chouffe. The beer card menu could be improved with obout 10 bottles to chose from, most original being the Papegaai. I’d have loved to see a nice Br. de la Senne on tap although I think one can find a decent beer to sip on at this place.
The decor is a typical Brussels house redecorated with a modern tram cartoonish feel, music at a decent level, very casual yet high food quality.
This place is the burger lovers heaven, after 14 years in the US I thought I would never get to eat proper burgers again until I found this small cozy restaurant. I am talking nice upscale burgers ranging from 12€-18€ with the freshest ingredients and presentation.
I ate the ’Burger Champi des Bois’, seasonal with wild mushrooms topped with pepper cream sauce, Parmesan and some roquette salad. A nice serving of crunchy fries to go with it.
I was there with a party of 12 and all of us were blown away by the food. Good and friendly service, in French and English even though we were a big group. For a first visit, a good surprise, will visit again. Small restaurant that gets very crowded around 19h30 victim of its own success, reservation recommended.
