Pretty cool vibe here. Mostly local beer on tap and good food. The beer I had was nothing special but I love trying local brews. Cool place.

Easily my favourite place in Columbia. Absolutelly no crap on tap and almost all just locals.
The shrimp and grits was the best I’ve ever tasted.

Pretty good selection - I had a BA People’s Porter and Curiex on my visit and ate a rib-eye. The steak was decent, the beers were great.

Nice ambiance, great service, decent selection (including a few house brands that are brewed by New South), regionals. Do yourself a favor and order the meatloaf - incredible. Short walk from the Flying Saucer and World of Beer. Parking on street can be a little challenging, but there’s no need to use a pay lot.

This place has excellent food and a pretty good beer selection. The only downside is hard to find parking and the wait on the weekends but that is probably because it is such a nice restaurant.

Stopped here for lunch and a pint in September ’07. Pleasant place with good ambience - seems to be a renovated historic building. Food is very good and the tap selection is also good, although not being from the SE I wasn’t familiar with some of the beers. Service is friendly and efficient, as you’d expect in a southern restaurant. My waitress was able to point me towards the IPA choices, which is all I ask most times. Will visit again next time I go see my friends in Lexington.

First off, the food has always been great when I have been. The beer selection is impressive for Columbia as the whole craft movement is finally starting to get its foot in the door there. Service during the evening and late night hours can get slow in the bar area on the weekend, but this is to be expected as the place fills up. The bar area is great, nice, big, long wooden bar, hardwood flooring, and big spacious booths...if you snag one.
Decent liquor selection if anyone in your group is interested; I had a nice small batch bourbon the last time I was there (Basil Hayden).

Great Beer selection and only getting better. The bar is very nice looking seeing how it was part of the original train station for columbia. The food and service were good. I will return
