Warm and cozy place, a bit crowded and noisy at Friday happy hour, but what do you expect? Limited but high-quality selection of beers on tap and in bottles. Didnít try any food, but the menu seemed pretty interesting.

Fairly small and (overall) unimpressive tap list. Service was friendly and the decor is quite nice. On the expensive side for what beers were being offered. Seems like this might be a better place to just have some cocktails or something.

A welcome oasis in a concrete jungle. But quite expensive, I suppose their rent is partly to blame? Not a huge choice but a fairly safe list. Nothing wrong quality wise.

Classy downtown LA bar, with hard to find parking. You need to use another garage and they will validate after two drinks. But it was somewhat of a walk on a cold rainy night. Only had up a half dozen craft beer lines, but they were all very good. A bit on the small side, still pretty friendly and cosmopolitan. Room for improvement as a beer bar.

A dark and cozy place well hidden just west of the library next to Wolfgang Puckís Gourmet Express. Small list of excellent pub food. A fireplace and comfy chairs off from the bar. A worthy rotating selection of craft beers when I visited, including North Coast Old Rasputin, a couple Craftsman, Stone Arogant Bastard, plus a couple of coolers of American and Belgian favorites behind the bar.
