nice place. A bit pricey by local standards. Only 2 of their own beers which are nice but not spectacular. Some Belgian beers on bottle too

Huge beerhall loosley themed on Bavarian ideas, situated across from the opera house. Pleasant attentive staff however the beers were a let down. Pricey food menu so we moved along.

Large German-style beer hall in the centre of Saigon. The fresh beer was a nice change from the standard South-East Asian pale lagers. Food was tasty, but the service could be better. We found better brewpubs in Saigon...

Great location across from Opera House. Huge interior, a typical Czech-style Vietnamese brewpub beer hall. Has a big screen for sports. Not much outdoor seating as youíd want given the good location. Have 2 beers, neither of which are particularly good. Overpriced menu so we didnít eat here.

This is a big German beer hall style brewpub near the Continental Hotel. I had both the blond and the dark beers here. I found them to be decent but not really spectacular. Itís still nice to be able to drink fresh brewed beer in a part of the world not really known as a beer mecca.

A large German style beer hall with just the two beers available (a common theme in Vietnam). Also pretty quiet on my visit but can imagine it would get lively when busy, and I noticed posters up for this yearís Oktoberfest which could of been fun drinking up with the locals. Worth checking out as thereís not a lot of choice for beer in the city.

The biggest and brassiest of the breed in HCMC, opposite the Opera House. Sharp service, grand design, hugely popular. Has a wine cellar, receptions rooms for large parties and weddings, private suites, large screen TVs and stuff like Englebert Humperdink on the music purveyor. Friendly too, with helpful staff offering sound advice about the lengthy menu. Sadly, the least accomplished beers - appearing to compromise with the local desire for all flavour components to be boiled out.

A big cool echonig room, a big round bar with tall chairs. The brewery (Kasper Schulz) is in the middel of the room. Vietnamese & German food they even had "Water Lemon Cock" on the menu. Winecellar. 2 different beers (Pilsner and Dunkel.
