been in here a few times, most recently was to grab a couple of bottles of black butte xxvi. which they had several of. several taps handles so you can fill growlers. they are improving their singles shelves which is always nice because times i just want one or two bottles. liquor and wine selections are great. beer selections are quite good and they do have a walk in cooler as well. but iíll be damned if i can find the entrance to the secret squirrel room where the rare beers are kept. overall pretty good job there.

Back in my home town, with my wife, reminiscing a little. Itís great to visit the beer and liquior store I used to be taken to as a kid; however, I doubt it was a Liquor Barn back then, but still, same location. With that, you walk in and thereís not much to look at, in terms of ambiance. The beer selection is pretty nice. I live on the West Coast, so most of the selection here is stuff that I canít get back home. I was able to find some pretty sweet bottles here. The service was great, but I typically donít need help. The prices didnít seem out of line, or anything. Overall, great place for bottles, and seems good to me. Definitely worth a stop.

Iíve been here numerous times, but visited again today and their beer selections seems to have gotten smaller. One isle of American craft beers, (along with a bunch of stuff stacked in the middle of the isle), and a couple end caps. Stone, Founders, Left Hand, BBC, and numerous others from around the region and around the country. Not a huge selection of each brewery. Generally 3-4 different six packs or bombers. A few singles on the other side along with some Belgians. Down from that is one isle of beers from the rest of the world. Not a great selection, but enough to find at least something interesting. Somewhat crowded with only a handful of employees working. Did manage to find someone to help me as I was not finding what I was looking for. This employee knew nothing about beer or what they had in stock. They did find another employee who seem to have a bit of knowledge in craft beer. Still was not able to locate what I was looking for even though their website search engine, which lists everything they have in stock, has it listed as being in stock at this location. The employee tried his best though, even going into the back to look for well over 10 minutes. I did appreciate the effort though. In all honesty the Fern Valley Liquor Barn has a much better craft and import selection.

This place is massive, but the beer selection is really just one half aisle of micros, and a half aisle of macros. Prices were decent enough, but I didnít find anything special here. Much better choices at Keg across the river.

Typical Liquor Barn with better selection. A guy stocking asked if I needed help, so that was a plus. Big selection of brews and most were available in singles. Beer is last two rows on the left. When I go back to Louisville I will drop by here.

A little out of the way if youíre visiting, but not too far from downtown Louisville (less than 15 minutes). Very solid selection of domestic craft stuff and decent import selection. Growler fill station is worth the drive - getting a Green Flash growler in KY is pretty sweet.

This location is large and houses a huge selection of of different liquors. You will almost always find the one thing you are looking for. I am most in for wine when I shop there, and the prices are sometimes a dollar or two less than other stores and they offer specials all the time on varying brands etc.

You can always count on getting your staple beers and liquors here. Most of the time there is a great selection of beers...craft and imports. Occasionally you will be able to score some hard to find beers (e.g., 120-minute IPA by Dogfish Head, etc.). If you go shortly after they receive their deliveries you have a better chance at getting what you want. The workers are usually knowledgeable about the beers too.

Been here twice now on my way back from the heartland and each time managed to score a couple boxes of sweet stuff. Nice to see stuff from Upland, Three Floyds, and Bluegrass here along with New Albanian and other regionals. Certainly the national stuff is well represented, with Stone, Founders, Bells, Southern Tier, et. al. Service was really helpful too. Whatís especially nice about the LB locations is their growler station option. Picked up a couple cheapies from Sheltowee (and I mean cheap, like 6 bucks for the Java Dawg). And with this joint right alongside I-64, itíd be foolish not to stop if youíre passing through.
