The best beer store in Northern Colorado. Fort Collins has Wilburís, but for a real selection and some new recommendations from Nick, a trip to loveland is a must. There is always a special, and the 10% discount on mixed 6-packs makes the prices competitive. Donít miss!

Liquor Max is an oasis of a bottle shop. Nick has crafted a glorious import selection. Doesnít seem to stock anything not worthy of his palate or shelf space. Storage is cold and careful. You have to go.

Iíve been meaning to review this store for awhile now and am glad iíve finally gotten around to do so. Iíve been visiting liquor max for a few years now and enjoy it every time i go. Living in Fort Collins is pretty convenient considering its only a fifteen minute drive to beer heaven. Nick is extremely friendly and helpful. Heís pointed me towards some fantastic brews on more than one occasion. Their selection of rare Belgium ales is truly amazing. Five cooler doors are reserved specifically for specialty beers!! If you are ever in northern Colorado, Liquor max is well worth the trip. And even if youíre not, they even sell online!! Truly a gem for real beer enthusiasts.

Iím rating this as totally exceptional because of where it is. Little Loveland, CO is not a bastion of anything food-related: Total suburban, fickle, Valastic pickle, corporate restaurant taste. Butt-hay, I digress...
First, the competition is nil. Other stores may offer a few common domestics micros, but make no effort to sell the customer. At LiqMax you get personal service because theyíre hungry for customers. They NEED me is the way I feel when I go in there. Damn, thatís a nice feeling in a retail bus. Iíve been to LiqMax a couple dozen times, and have always had a friendly conversation with the operators about beer. 95% of the time they approach me, and start rapping about beer. Select a 6-er of singles and get a 10% discount is great, and unique to this area. Again, makes me feel special. The selection evolves too which is dynamite. There is nothing in the region that can touch the suds coming out of LiqMax. LiqMax has made me a better beer drinker. Their selection spans the globe. Itís been life-altering here in Loveland. Thanks Jeff, who started me down the path of righteous beer.
Thanks Nick, who continues to enlighten my beer path.

Great selection and easy to find. There is nothing I can say that hasnít already been said. Excellent. An absolutely essential destination when you are in the area.

Quite possibly my new second favorite place to get beer in Colorado after Wilburís. Not the largest selection but itís impeccably selected... Beer Geek Brunch Weasel, 3 Fonteinen Doesjel, tons of 3 Fonteinen Gueuze, four cases of both The Abyss and 3 French Hens on the floor. I was floored by the beer selection. By the way, you get a discount approximately 10-15% discount on every six bombers you buy. Unbelievable.

Becoming one of the best stores in Colorado. With Total Beverage treading water the last 6 months, and Liquor Mart offering few and seemingly random new things each month (no beer geek behind the ordering, obviously), things are getting bleak in Boulder/Denver. Thankfully Nick and Liquor Max are taking up the slack and offering some SERIOUS brews. Huge thumbs up.

Best beer selection Iíve seen in Colorado so far and Iíve lived here 48 years. Nick is very helpful and will point out great beers you may not notice. My first visit cost me $140 and I was trying to show some restraint as I live in Arvada and can return anytime!

Great. Really awesome stuff...like 10 doors of just sweet bombers and plenty of warm beer too! A lot of older beers, i was told the owner has been cellaring in the back. Went there broke and still spent 145 dollars. Prices were so much cheaper than Boulder Liquor Mart and Bottles.
