Supermarket with a big selection of beers. Lots of Danish, English and Belgian beers in particular with other countries represented to a lesser extent. As I visited Henrik was stocking the shelves, so I had a chance to get a good talk with him. He obviously knows his beers better than most employees in regular beer stores. I’ll surely visit this place again, when passing by.

Supermarket with lots of Danish and foreign beers. Many micros such as Microbryggeriet and Trolden. Rather cheap prices.

Visited several times. For a supermarket LIVA has a very large beer selection. Always good service from Henrik and always many offers on beers. A must visit when in Kolding and you want to buy some beers.

A bit on the outside of things compared to what else you find in walking distance from the centre. However - good place to visit in case other places are closed. I’m spoiled by having tasted most of the stuff they have on the shelves. However - I did walk away with 5 - 8 new beers, primarily from the YNWA imports. Great place for those in search of Danish micros!

286 beers there are, as it is written in an newspaper-article which hung on the bord. henrik, the "beer-employee" of the supermarket, is member of the "danish beerenthusiasts", one of the brewers of "kolding bryglaug" and can give any advice you need. great selection of danish micros, good range of belgians, interesting range of english breweries, including stuff like "fullers vintage" (three different years) or "thomas hardy´s ale". prices are much lower than in the wine-shops.

For a supermarket the selection is outstanding. Thay had more than 250 beers of which I had not tasted quite a good deal. I had not stayed there many minutes before a very friendly guy turned up to hear if a needed assistance. Found a good deal of British beers on top of the Danish micros and the standard repertoire I had expected.

A supermarket with a giant selection. Lots of local, british and US brews. Good offers and cheap compared to other stores in Denmark. Probably 20 unrated mostly British brews. Pleasant surprise! Some rare ones. Grain barrel from GB, Raasted, Mikkeller etc. Will go next time im in Kolding!

Sometimes you are lucky maybe to find a few new beers in a supermarket far from home. But this place absolutely blew me away, when I visited it right before Christmas 08. I think I found 25 new beers, mainly from the UK, but also a few local, hard to get beers, and the price was very fair. It would be very stupid not to visit Liva, if you are in Kolding, I can wait to go there again!

Supermarket. Two places in Kolding - not always the same selection - the Galgebjerg one is often the top priority. A fair selection of Danish micros, some Belgians and English. Fair prices. For a city without any major bottle shops, it’s actually quite nice, and do seem to find some brews that are not usually available in supermarkets.
