Located a few moments away from the Cambridge Blue, so makes for a good beginning/end of a pub-crawl. First off this place closes for lunch for a good few hours, which is unusual to say the least! Inside it has a proper local boozer feel. They have 8 hand-pulls, but unfortunately only 4 beers on when we visited. Oakham Green Devil was on, so that was the drink of choice. A solid pub with good cask beer, but nothing terribly out of the ordinary to be honest. Worth a stop on a pub crawl for sure.

Great pub. The beer selection and quality are solid. They don't play music, allowing the walls and people to create the ambiance. But the holy of holies of this bar is the rum lists. That's lists, plural. They've got a minimum of 100 different rums from around the world in a connoisseur's catalog. We now have a date for a nightcap :)

Cosy & friendly street corner local within walking distance of Cambridge Rail Station. On a hot summerís day our pints were served pleasantly cool

Fairly average back street bar, not a very exciting selection by local standards.

Visited january 2013, last pub on our great Cambridge Pub Crawl :-) Very cosy place, friendly and serviceminded staff. The beers were served in good condition. The place was a bit crowded, but that was expectet on a saturday nigth. Being in Cambridge, this place is for sure worth visiting..

A spacious real ale bar with a wooden interior, just outside the city centre. Up to eight hand pulled real ales, plus a few fizzy lagers, ciders and a decent bottled Belgian selection. Good service and value. Itís worth the walk out here to visit this place and the other three top bars in the area.

A nice wooden pub with good real ales. My choice was Nethergate Umbel Ale 3,8% (30.6.2010).

Live and Let Live is a great little pub located close to the Cambridge Blue off Mill Road. The ambiance is lovely - the barís small and wooden, the decor tired. Despite that, the atmosphere is relaxed and jovial (sleeping dogs under tables, locals having plenty of banter etc). When I visited there were 6 beers on cask, including 3 options from Oakham. The beers were well kept, the prices good. Overall, while the beer selection is inferior to the Cambridge Blue, the great atmosphere of this pub makes up for it. I highly recommend a visit.

Nice place to go to when visiting Cambridge. Great atmosphere, seems to be the favourite of the locals. Good selection, including quite many Belgian beers (much to the enjoyment of the friend I was visiting) and some nice cask ales.

A great locals bar in Cambridge. A necessary addition to any pub crawl. A great selection of cask ale and also a nice belgian bottle list, including a few geuzes : ) Highly recommended!
