This is located in a converted barn and features all the rustic character and charm one would expect in such a place. The food is superb and the beers standard, with no real stand-outs.

Brewpub. Nice indoor and outdoor atmosphere. Decent service. Beer was nothing to write home about. Food is above average. Worth a visit if you are nearby, but I wouldnít go too far out of my way.

This place was good once. Still a great building, location, & outdoor seating in nice weather. Itís the beer though...really not that great anymore & hasnít been for awhile. The food is average and the value is not especially good. I would really like to see top flight craftbeer people take this place over and start again (might be tough given the off the beaten track location).

I live in Long Valley and avoid that place like the plague. EXTREMELY OVERPRICED! You are now warned. The beer isnít even that good and they charge $4 at the very least for a pint. The food is eh, you can get the same quality elsewhere, or better for cheaper. Portions are small and the servers are either over attentive or forget your even there. Not naming names but some really scummy people work in the back. The only thing I give to this place is the bartenders are generally very nice and attentive if you rather sit there than the dining areas. Ambiance is not bad...rustic, historic, bi-level. Managers treat their staff like slaves from what I hear so the bad service is a product of their desire to not care. That place could be a lot better than it currently is. See for yourself though, Iím not stopping anyone.

Awesome setting in a restored 3-story stone mill. Open and classic inside, welcoming horseshoe bar on the main floor with aux. bar upstairs, just their own beers on tap. My favorites are the Lazy Jake Porter, an excellent porter, and the ESB. Oatmeal Stout is great too in the wintertime.

Been to the brew pub more times than I can count. A nice place to grab a burger and a beer. They brew their own and usually have 5-6 beers on tap. All the beers are decent, however they can be hit or miss. The food is also hit or miss, sometimes the fish and chips are great and other times a soggy mess. However the beer is the attraction and I choose the Lazy Jake Porter 9 times out of 10. UPDATE: I have to lower my review as the food quality has gone down and there is almost no change in beers. They have settled into just making the same beers over and over. Your a brewpub, brew some different beers.

Rustic old stone barn in scenic area of Long Valley. Their beers were all well done but none really stood out for me. I havenít ever had a bad meal here but the variety of food has gone down a bit. This is one of my favorite places to spend a snowy day...in front of their fireplace watching the snow fall over the hills with a porter in hand.

Beautiful old building with modernized innards and a nice overlook. Beer is good but not amazing (very glad my various locals have been better), there is some potential here for good seasonals and one-offs, but the standard lineup didnt impress. Wings were very good, service friendly, far too many children for my liking. In the end, definitely worth the visit.

The LVPB used to be one of my favorite places to meet the guys and have a good session. The menu seems to continually shrink and food quality is down significantly. Ie. used to love theyíre saurbraten but off the menu now. English Pale ale is good. Lazy Jake Porter is the best most consistwent beer in my opinion. Ambiance is great being in a 100 year old farm house. I still suggest, but eat before you go. Cheers!
