Nice, cozy beer bar just off the main shopping street. Bartender (owner?) was friendly and served up some great pub grub. Many Danish micro-brewed beers on draft including at least 7 special Christmas beers.

favourite place in town (may have to battle it out with recently opened mikkeller bar elsewhere in town) but this is where I first got aboard the danish microbrew wagon and they’re still right up there - nice guys and gals behind the bar and their supplies are usually so small that they always have something brand new on tap quitting on their 95DKK taster menu is only slip-up imo

Great small place downtown copenhagen with a lot of good danish brews on tap. Nice staff that gives you a nice rest from the shoppingfrenzy outside. Visit also "Barleywine", which is just around the corner.

Little hole in the wall with some unexpected gems. Selection is consistently interesting, especially in the winter time when more dark stouts etc. are on tap. Staff are great. Get rid of smoking!

Basement bar in the centre of Copenhagen. These days one of the best places for Danish micros as the there is a constant rotation on the taps. Drawbacks are that smoking is still allowed most of the time, I guess this is to please many of the great locals showing up here as soon as the place opens in the afternoon. Always a warming and welcoming place. They used to do samplers, not sure if they still do. May have UK casks on as well, although the start of this in 2009 didnøt go that well (don’t run the same cask for a month....)

Small cozy bar only with danish micros on the taps. Service is great. I love this place, whenever I go to Copenhagen, I drink beer there.

Good cozy basement bar with good danish micros. Very nice selection, which changes on an almost daily basis. Good knowledgeable staff.

I really enjoy Lord Nelson. The smoke can be a bit much at times, but if your looking for a good danish micro, this is the place to be.

It was great to revisit this place after 3 years when back in KbH last month. Still a smoky, subterranean refuge, with a good selection of local craft beer of tap, and highly knowledgable staff (and locals) wiling their evenings away.
