21032013; lost sales license for alcohol a couple of months back
Changed concept 4-5 months ago. Now more of an Asian supermarket with fresh vege tables and a lot of dried foods.
The beer selection was impressive though ( beneath 4,7). 4 Beer Here Cat series, 4 from meantime, 1 from Lille bryggeri, 1 Hornbeer. Bought 14 beers I never saw before, and I guess about 35 more in store (no Norwegian macros). Will return when I hear of new arrivals

At last I found it. Very close to my friends apartment.
Unusual good norwegian grocery store selection. But they have to remove the beer away from the hottest corner in the store!
Good asian food also if you are interested.

Asian supermarked with a decent selection of beers thatís not widely available in stores in Norway (Beer Here, Hornbeer, Dugges, Det Lille Bryggeri, Shorts and Meantime). The rest of the selection is beer that is availible in some of the Meny stores in the Oslo area. Not worth a trip from Oslo in my opinion, but worth a detour if youíre in the area. Some of the shelves seemed to be quite hot, probably heat from spotlights.

Nice bottle selection with almost only hard to find beers. Actually maybe the best <4,7% ABV beer shop in Oslo region. The usual Nō and HB of course, but also 4 from Beer Here, some de Molen and some sweedish micros as well. They had things from Dugges and Handverksbryggerien when i was there.

A combined soft drink and beer retail store that aims for bulk sales. There are also some kiosk-like facilities. The attraction is that they sell a number of beers that are very hard to find in the Oslo area, from for example the Trio, Lervig, Mack, and Aass breweries. In addition they have some rare imports, some of which are craft beers. To get here you must either have a car or take a taxi.

Specialist store for beers and soft drinks, one of the best in Norway for grocery store strength beers (below 4.75% ABV). They had Inveralmond Lia Fail and Ossian when I visited, + other British ales + the usual Norwegian stuff.

This place is really a soda-shop, but they also sell beer. It caters to the average
norwegian beer-drinker i.e. it mostly sells pale lagers, but they also have a small
selection of real ales as well. The staff is pleasant but they donít really have much knowledge about beers and they stocked beer that was past the best-before date when I visited them.

Once, there were beer- and sodashops all over Norway, but most are long gone. LÝrenskog Brusshop is one of the few remaining, but unfortunately the selection isnít very interesting anymore. Some of the more obscure macros and some others can be found though. As everywhere in Norway, itís quite expensive. Worth a stop if youíre in the area.
