I have to say I was a bit hesitant at first to enter, as this is located in a shabby ground floor appartment in a shabby neighbourhood. Itís basically a kitchen where the bar is. However, they have great and uncommon beers, a really nice house beer (the green cap, great drinkability), an art exhibition (what this basically is is a beer-funded art exhibition), nice talkative international staff, crowd of artsy folks. In a few months a new location should open for their brewery + tasting room + exhibition. This place is hard to review score-wise. Opening hours are very limited, itís just an old kitchen, but still this is very appealing to me.

Located in what seems to be an old shop, this is a sort of art studio serving great beer, the Dragons Tears green cap that is brewed by them is a nice light hoppy beer and the beer list is small but well thought out. Open thursdays only when I visited but apparently opening íproperí in october, enthusiastic knowledgable beer lovers. Well worth the tram ride (Tram 14 to Bos en Lommerplein- than a two min walk) if not for the beer then for a bit of eccentricity!

Small place in the suburbs of Amsterdam. Nice underground arty project from a bunch of very dedicated beerlovers. Serving their own brews and a fine selection of high quality and often very rare beer from all over the planet. Be a first hour supporter, wonder what this place will grow to in the future. Itís like seeing the sex pistols before they grew big.
