Nice bottle shop near downtown Louisville. Small but cool ambiance with a ton of bottles and some good drafts, which you can drink (as well as sample) there. Value was good too. The only thing that wasnít good was the service; the two employees behind the counter were completely disinterested, and unknowledgeable to boot. Not rude; just in their own worlds (and s...l...o...w...). This place would be great if they reconstructed their staff, but itís still worth a stop.

Really solid bottle shop with taps in NuLu (between the Highlands and down town). Excellent selection of high quality bottles from well-known breweries. Lots of stuff other shops in Louisville donít have. Atmosphere is kind of conducive to chatting and hanging out although the staff seemed kind of busy at the time. Still nice atmosphere and a great location.

One of the best spots in Louisville, no question. Bottles that will light up your eyes from the floor to nearly out-of-reach above your head line pretty much every wall. And you can either buy them for take out, or drink them there (they have many in the cooler in the back right wall). Several taps as well, and even Bellís Expedition was on when I visited. There are certainly old bottles here to watch out for, esp. the imports, but itís not as depressing as most stores. Friendly, smiling staff and happy customers abounded when I was here. One of the three must-visit places in town for me.

Surprised the rating for this place isnít higher. Small place, but a great selection of bottles throughout. They also had a nice selection of about 8 or 9 taps available to drink while you were browsing for your beer. I had a FFF War Mullet and BSíd with one of the workers about Hill Farmstead for a few minutes. Really nice guy. Awesome place with a great selection (reasonably price) & a cool on-site taplist. I will definitely go back here whenever Iím in town.

Bottle shop with taps. I expected a better selection for some reason. Oh yeah the other ratings hinted at that... Left with two 12oz bottles. Meh. Smells of incense. The people working there just ragged on 3 Floydís inability to properly place labels on their bottles.

Visited 2/28/14. Nice clean and bright place, plenty of awesome beer to choose from as well as taps, which is cool. One guy was working alone and happy to field my questions. I enjoyed one sample on tap and bought 4-5 bottles. I could have easily spent a ton of money here, but hey, Iím from southern Georgia. No real complaints with the place or my visit. They had some clearance beer which is cool!

Updated 2/10/2014: Hadnít updated my review since 2011, so this is long overdue. PROS: Great use of a small space; bottles everywhere the eye can see, nothing phoned in, but awesome beer everywhere you look; if a hard to find release is in the area, itís probably here first. Service has been great in recent visits- Iím definitely not one of the "in crowd" but Tyler, Daniel, etc. always seem to remember past requests and preferences in our conversations, and have solid recommendations as well. I also think the beer here is priced very well, and is usually close to the lowest prices I can find on the same beer elsewhere around town. CONS: I really wish they had some kind of small cheese/meat cooler, but Iím making things up here. Maybe that their daytime hours are a bit limited- thatís about it. OVERALL: This place is pretty awesome, and you should not make a trip to Louisville without dropping by. A stand-alone destination that is worth the drive from far out of town.

If you know what you are looking for, this can be a great place, but do not expect much in service. For some reason they tend to ignore you which is strange for such a small space. A ton of Shelton Brothers and 12% products dominate the selection which can be good and bad. The atmosphere is very cool, its a nicely laid out space, and the patio can be fun to hang out in, but you always feel like if you are not part of the club, youíre not really welcome there.
