Visited Sunday lunch. Very busy on the patio with football and soccer. 63 beers on tap, available in 6 oz tasters. Cozy dark pub inside - also packed. Belgian, German and CA beers dominate the list.

kind of like a soccer pub put into a house that just didn’t give in to the genericization of pasadena. that is very good. so many chains are invading the town, but this gem has great selection. very hard for me to decide what to have there! good british pub food.

Finally found a great bar with a wonderful selection of Belgian brews in the Greater LA area. The place has beer and soccer banners on the walls and ceiling. The bar staff is generally attentive. The selection of beers is great - got to try a good number of beers that I haven’t seen served elsewhere. They also have a great outside patio seating area, so you can take advantage of the (generally) great Pasadena weather. Haven’t had the food the times I went. A fun place to go for some great beer.

So far, the best place to have a beer in the greater Los Angeles area. Old Town Pasadena is a pain in the ass to get to and drive around in, but there’s a parking garage literally next to this place and the price is reasonable. Lots of pretty young things of both sexes provide eye candy/foot traffic and this is really the sort of place where most of the patrons are drinking the good stuff. Only downside is that they are ALWAYS out of my first choice, no matter what it might be.

Went there on a Thurs lunch. It wasn’t crowded. the service was great. the food was good and the prices were reasonable. They had a very nice tap selection. Nice little place. If wasn’t 65 miles away, I’d go there often

Great pub, with a shop out front, and a slightly formidable hostess. A good selection of strong beers are available in different sized glasses, as well as rotating taps, and lots of international and US bottles. Lots of beer memorabilia adorns the walls, and the staff buzz around merrily. Well worth the trip to Pasadena, especially with efficient Metro links.

Nice place with a nice patio. When I was there they were having their annual Belgian Fest and had a lot of interesting beers on tap. Good service, great beer, whats not to love?

Drove 300 miles to attend its IPA festival with over 40 IPAs and Double IPAs on tap. About 60 taps overall. Also known for their Belgian and Barleywine beer festivals. The owner is very friendly and generous but the bartender was a little cold. On this particular day their was quite a foul odor lingering around the bar area--most likely from the dozens of kegs jammed into ever corner. Otherwise a lovely little place in pleasant Old Town Pasadena with good English pub fare and fantastic outdoor seating.
