Visited Sunday lunch. Very busy on the patio with football and soccer. 63 beers on tap, available in 6 oz tasters. Cozy dark pub inside - also packed. Belgian, German and CA beers dominate the list.

One of the best beer spots in the greater LA area. A great location in Old Town Pasadena with parking next door and a plethora of pedestrian shopping areas to keep the family occupied while I enjoy one of their many tasty selections. The list is always changing and they regularly feature SoCal brewers. Their regular festivals (IPA, Belgian, etc.) are a treat. Cool old building with a nice shady patio on a pedestrian alley - great for relaxing and people watching. Food is mostly typical British pub fare and quite good. Service is excellent and most servers are quite knowledgeable.

Best selection of unusual taps in LA. I’ve seen more than 10 Barley Wine’s at a time. Don’t drive out here from the beach though - it’s an expensive cab ride and you are sure to drink more than you intend.

So far, the best place to have a beer in the greater Los Angeles area. Old Town Pasadena is a pain in the ass to get to and drive around in, but there’s a parking garage literally next to this place and the price is reasonable. Lots of pretty young things of both sexes provide eye candy/foot traffic and this is really the sort of place where most of the patrons are drinking the good stuff. Only downside is that they are ALWAYS out of my first choice, no matter what it might be.

A good beer list and an awesome selection of Craftsman. Good service and good food. Patio seating a plus. A great place overall.

Went there on a Thurs lunch. It wasn’t crowded. the service was great. the food was good and the prices were reasonable. They had a very nice tap selection. Nice little place. If wasn’t 65 miles away, I’d go there often

Stopped in during their Belgian Brew Fest. Lots of new things and the server did not know all the different Belgian beers in detail, but that was ok. Food was really nice - a Belgian beef stew served with a crusty French roll. Sat outside in early February, can’t beat that!!

kind of like a soccer pub put into a house that just didn’t give in to the genericization of pasadena. that is very good. so many chains are invading the town, but this gem has great selection. very hard for me to decide what to have there! good british pub food.

Finally found a great bar with a wonderful selection of Belgian brews in the Greater LA area. The place has beer and soccer banners on the walls and ceiling. The bar staff is generally attentive. The selection of beers is great - got to try a good number of beers that I haven’t seen served elsewhere. They also have a great outside patio seating area, so you can take advantage of the (generally) great Pasadena weather. Haven’t had the food the times I went. A fun place to go for some great beer.

Great pub, with a shop out front, and a slightly formidable hostess. A good selection of strong beers are available in different sized glasses, as well as rotating taps, and lots of international and US bottles. Lots of beer memorabilia adorns the walls, and the staff buzz around merrily. Well worth the trip to Pasadena, especially with efficient Metro links.
