Decent, and quite large beer hall with a very nice and spacious patio. Quite an industrial feel, something that works well. Not the largest selection in town by a mile, but still offer some decent brews. Their pizza really is, as mentioned by others, amazing, and makes a good companion to one of their very balanced IPAís. Service is ok, and value is good.

Best Pizza and beer in town. Nothing better on a hot day to sit outside with your dog and relax

I made it in just after closing and picked a quick flight of beers. A pretty cool place, and looks like and old lodge. Enjoyable beer with a good amount of taps.

I really dug the atmosphere here. It was a nice day and there was a decent crowd in the afternoon on the back patio. There were people inside as well, but sitting outside was the way to go. I liked the beers, but nothing was too amazing either. It was all pretty consistent. They had a decent range as well with offering up two different size pours. The bartenders were pretty friendly too and it wasnít too hard to get one of them. Granted, it was the middle of the afternoon, so that may have helped.

You know, I really rate this place. So the garden doesnít get much sun and the food is kinda limited but it makes up for it! Itís tasty, the beer selection is interesting and allows for a few interesting guest taps. Itís big and friendly with an awesome family atmosphere where everyone is welcome. I guess it can seem cavernous at times but if you rock up on a weekday afternoon what do you expect. Itís a total haven in this part of town and awesome for big groups.

Went for lunch and got a sampler of the beers on tap. Pizza was awesome. Beers were solid but nothing blew my mind. Inside is a large beer hall. You order food at the bar and they bring it out to your table.

I was very disappointed in the beers at this place. My service was also pretty crappy. I guess the one good thing was that it resembles a German beer hall.

Cool place. I wish I could give it a higher score. Their beer is very solid and the physical plant is kind of awesome if youíre laid back. Professional dart boards in the front. Picnic tables in the back outside where you can have pets. The guy behind the bar wasnít what I would call "outgoing," but he answered questions nicely and fully. Iíd probably be a regular if I lived in Portland. (I didnít give a food score because we only had the chips and salsa. The salsa was nice and freshly made but a little bland -- I like a little more heat.)
