Big old school brewpub with a big communal eating area, service at bar, 16 taps with 2 guests, nice and cheap food menu (sandwiches, Bentos, salads), lots of t-shirts for sale. A cool place. 6 X 5 ounces= 8.75$.

Visited on Tuesday 6th November ’12 around 4pm. Place was pretty quiet as we were inbetween lunch and evening so have defaulted ambiance to 3. Large enough kind of venue with lots of wood - ie floors and benches etc. We just stood by the bar as we were only there for an hour. Home beers only on tap - 6 in total. The Super Dog was a first rate IPA. Service was fine - they weren’t busy mind! Also bought a T-shirt for my other half and some dog biscuits! I’d certainly head back here again.

Popped in here on a recent visit to Portland since we were staying close by. Massive industrial space with a surfer sort of vibe (even though I don’t think there’s a whole lot of surfing going on in Portland) - reminded me of the Pizza Port Ocean Beach location. Wooden picnic tables strewn throughout. A large selection of mostly hop forward stuff (no complaints there) that were pretty well done. Bartender was very friendly and entertained my wife while I ticked away. Cheap as chips and although we didn’t eat here, I really enjoyed the visit.

Picnic tables in a big open space. Lots of wood giving a rustic cabin vibe. Taps were almost entirely their brews and I had a flight which included one of the better alt’s I’ve had.

Old school american style beer hall - cavernous interior with a backwoods cabin kind of feel to it - this is amplified by the bluegrass music they pump in - definitely predates the current hipster vibe in the neighborhood - in fact, the rustic interior almost seems to predate Portland itself - food and beers are dirt cheap - about a dozen brews, but all are quite similar in style (ipas, pales, bitters, etc.) - beers are solidly made, but nothing terrible exciting - food is so-so, but the price is right - decent service - an okay spot, but not essential on your beer tour.

Large almost German style beer hall. Full of games and happy beer quaffing Porlandians. Dog friendly year round back porch a big plus. Lines for a beer can get long and aimlessly annoying. Like who is next here? they’ve got a little of everything here with a fairly extensive menu. Great beers and a fun atmosphere, I can tell why many call this watering hole a favorite.

I wasn’t a huge fan of their beers when I visited in early 2009 but I found the atmosphere very comfortable and inviting.

Big place, kind of generic looking. Friendly and helpful staff. Mediocre beer.

Stopped by on a rainy Sunday. Big barn like looking place, lots of tables and a walk up and order your beer counter. Beers were just ok. Lots of old country music playing and locals relaxing over a pint. Outdoor area with lots of dogs (of course). They had a kitchen with a decent looking menu, but we did not eat. Decent place, nothing great.
