Good food, nice cocktails...but the beer clearly isn’t a top priority here.

Not really a beer place, more of a hip hop cocktail thing.

Packed even on a Monday night, great food and nice tap list along with a strong bottle list. Good and quick service as well.

Great selection of Belgian inspired beers I had NB Lips of faith and a Rodenbach. Drinks were good to but a bit too pricey. Food looked good, but we were just there for drinks (two drink minimum). Service was a bit slow and the lounge atmosphere was odd. A bit yuppy but that can be forgiven for the quality of beer.
Re-rate: Food is good at least the fries are amazing. They use proper glassware. Service is still sub-par.

This is a delightful new restaurant/bar in a rapidly developing part of Oakland recently dubbed Uptown. There is an attractive bar with a dozen stools, 15 taps and a decent selection of liquor. There is seating for about 50 in the main restaurant area and another 25 or so in the performance room, which also has a large dance floor. There is a pool table in yet another room. The beer list is fairly short but very well-selected - almost half are Belgian. There is a wide range of food available and I had excellent meals on all 3 of my visits so far. When they are not too busy, the barkeeps are happy to talk beer, and they are always very polite.
