Pretty decent sized brewpub, but that didnít stop it from being totally packed on the weekend nights. Tried to come Friday and it was just too long to wait for a seat, so tried again Saturday and luckily got seated almost right away.
As with Beaver Street, there is some overlap in the beer list as both breweries are owned by the same people and have the same core lineup of beers. But, these guys seem to be the bigger game in town and have more unique stuff of their own.
Also like Beaver Street, the prices on beers here is pretty damn cheap. I ordered a set of tasters, which are $0.75 each. One of them was their Barrel Aged IPA (dumb), and when the beers came, the waitress apologized that she forgot to tell me that one was a whopping $1. I had to try to not laugh while I assured her it was alright.
Anyway, the place has sort of a sports bar theme and seemed to be more full of a younger (I suppose NAU) crowd than some of the other breweries in the area.
Food menu is pretty extensive, though itís mostly your typical bar food. Tried an item called "The Mess", which is essentially like poutine but instead of cheese curds it has queso fresco on it. Ate pretty good, but itís fries and gravy, so how bad can it really be?

Huge place and a little commercial, but comfortable. Lots of staff so service was pretty good. Food was surprisingly very good and beer was pretty decent. Not quite worthy of a specific trip.

7 Lumberyard beers on tap, including a good mix of styles, plus 2 guest taps, Both tables and bar stools in bar area; additional indoor seating; large patio good for watching trains on the very nearby and busy tracks. Very meaty and rather good chili. Spinach dip was even better.

Visited spring 2012 on my way to California. I was very impressed with this place. Had at least 12 of their own beers on as well as a few guest taps. Cool location right in downtown Flagstaff next to the BNSF mainline. Beer was decent to above average however, i didnt drink much since i had to keep driving. I would go back to this place for sure! Service was good, friendly and fast.

Went here on a Saturday night - this place gets busy! Nice atmosphere, itís seems like a pretty new modern building. Sat at the bar, was pleased with the quick and friendly service. The food was good (all we had were the irish eggrolls). My wifeís bloody mary was spectacular, by the way. Their beer menu is almost an afterthought, and they have 6 or 7 of their beers on tap plus a premium one (usually some kind of imperial). The value was OK, but at least they serve half pints. I canít believe they charge 75 cents for a taster, though. All in all, we had a good time and plan on returning in the future...

Stopped in here on the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving and sat at the bar. Big space with a few rooms and good sized patio; used to be an actual lumberyard. Bright, clean, cool. 8-10 house taps and 2 guests. Seemed like at least 2 were special and a couple more seasonal. Good beers overall. Didnít eat. Bartender was busy but cool and friendly. Prices were fair; to-go prices were good. Also had cans of IPA and Red and a few other bombers. Overall, really good place and worth a visit if youíre in the area.
