8 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 1/10 SELECTION 1/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 1/20 beernovice39 (196) Montana | October 1, 2012 Stopped by twice in July during posted hours. I mean posted on the front of the store. Both times...NOT OPEN. Tried to call, no answer. Fail. | 62 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 11/20 Drake (394) Ivy, Virginia | February 23, 2012 What NachamSie said 5 months ago is exactly true today. Located in a tiny strip center. It’s kind of a weird vibe, half wine store half homebrew store. I didn’t look too closely at the homebrew stuff but it looked like ingredients only, no equipment. Beer was available for sampling in one ounce paper cups. The three I tried weren’t anything to write home about but weren’t bad either. Bottles were available to go but when I was there they were waiting on bottles to come in, so the 3 bombers I bought was exactly half of the stock. Prices were good. The guy working was very friendly, and he is the brewer as well. I wouldn’t go out of your way but its a nice stop if you’re in the area. | 74 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 14/20 NachlamSie (454) Tennessee | September 1, 2011 Lumina is an established winery that has just very recently begun selling beer. They bottle and he plans to only sell from the winery and perhaps a handful of restaurants. It was less than $4 for a bomber. There aren’t pints available for on premise consumption, but he let me have small tastes of the beer. It’s worth a stop to get some bottles that aren’t available much anywhere else. |
