The winning formula of Black Country Inn is repeated here, in spitting distance of St Peterís Church. A well-worn, but far from tired, look. Ten real ales on (three from Black Country and seven guests), plus a smattering of basic Belgians. The beer range plays it safe (mostly low ABV bitters/goldens) but the choice are good. A craft tap or two wouldnít go amiss, but judging from the popularity of the place (very busy at 12.45 on a Monday), they donít need to change their formula at all.

Visited a few times, last occasion on a Friday evening before seeing the German Comedy Ambassador do his thing at the nearby Wulfrun Hall.
Iím not a fan of Black Country beers at all so see the pumps dedicated to their beer to be a waste. Usually pick up a good beer or two here from the guest range, service is friendly, prices decent and beer is always in good condition.
Probably the best pub in Wolverhampton for range of beer with nicest ambiance.
50p rolls are the bargain here if thereís any left.

CAMRA pub crawl around Wolverhampton on 28th Feb 2015. Full downstairs so the 13 of us piled upstairs and found plenty of room. Good condition cask beers with plenty of guest ales to compliment the Black Country Ales always on offer. Friendly and busy.

Excellent small venue in Wolverhampton, 3 sticks on with 3 normally dispensing the BCA standard range. The rest normally feature a real cider and a dark beer. Great place to relax in the evening and chill and the open fire is excellent in the cold months. One of the oldest buildings in Wolverhampton with the rear being 16th century.

This is my favourite Pub in Wolverhampton. It has consistently good beer, very good service, and although it runs out of Cobs by about 5.30pm you can order food in and they will provide plates and cutlery. Marvelous place.

Very good place, lively and a good selection of ales. It is quite small and was busy when I was there. This adds to the atmosphere. Will be my regular after work haunt now as it is only round the corner.

New pub close to the main shopping area, this is a sister pub to The Wellington in Birmingham, but currently a little more relaxed. There is a good range of beers available, though the Black Country Brewery beers will be regulars. Great seating areas, there is also a function room to hire. A great addition to the Wolverhampton Real Ale scene.
