This is a bottle redemption convenience store located next to the railroad tracks on the edge of Downtown Montpelier. No ambiance to speak of other than the aroma of stale returnable bottles in the back of the store and plenty of candy and snack foods to go. However they have a decent enough selection at lower prices. They tend to focus on the national brands but I give them credit for having most of the McNeillís line as well as a good supply of Stone, Rock Art and several Vermont micros. You can mix and match but you might want to bring your own 6-pack carrier. Parking is tight. However they are open for buying and bottle redemption 7-days per week.

After drinking my face off at Three Penny I randomly stopped in here to grab some late night munchies. Its not the nicest looking spot and the jackass worker wouldnít get off his cell phone the whole time, but this is actually worth a quick stop. Beers probably sit on the shelf longer here but we found 2 BA 250 beers on the shelf that we saw no where else. Come to find a hidden gem.

A pretty dirty, quite small "convenience" store with a very limited and ordinary selection of craft beers. Not worth the time, honestly...

Convenience store. Kinda dirty, but nothing out of the ordinary. Small selection of bigger Vermont locals (otter creek, magic hat, etc) probably wouldnít stop here again.

Iíve picked some bottles up here when I was swinging by the Savoy to see what was playing. I redeem empty bottles almost every week at the back of the store. They do carry bongs and porno mags, so it isnít all bad.

Itís not a great source for bottled beers but there are some interesting (read: random, gimmicky) beers in here. Nothing great in terms of quality, but I think there are things to interest some RBers. Hunger Mountain (which is just few minutes away) has a vastly superior beer selection, so if youíre visiting one bottle source in Montpelier make it Hunger Mountain.

I only go here to return beer bottles for cash. Selection is weak.

NOT WORTH STOPPING. I think this place should be removed from the site. Itís mostly swill and a few common larger VT micros. Just go to Hunger Mountain Co-op if you actually want to buy beer.
