2015-09-25. Beer selection was just okay, with a handful of Shepherd Neame casks - they own the pub. We found a cozy booth in the corner after clearing away some leftover glassware from the previous residents. It was quite busy at around 6:00 on a Friday with both the after work crowd and the rugby world cup on the TV. The decor is almost a stereotypical British pub from a North American perspective from the carpeting to the wall coverings. Itís nice enough, likely more so during quieter hours, but the beer selection is limited from a beer geek perspective. You will likely visit due to proximity to Euston and Kingís Cross station.

Just passing and Iíd thought a visit for a couple of scoops would be in order, limited range of neame beers, sky sports, what seemed to be an ok good menu.

Decent side-street boozer found between St Pancras and Euston. Fairly ordinary but thereís some grade A mock-period (read: tacky) wallpaper. This place can get very busy, but it was lively without being packed on my last visit. Only Shepherd Neame on the five cask handpumps, but itís served to perfection. SNís more decent bottles such as their IPA are also on offer. Decent enough.

Traditional english pub with a few cask beers from Shepherds Neame as the main taget for a ticker. Shows sport on the TVs.

Old pub close to Euston station. 5 cask with Shepherd Neame beers + some keg macroes aswell. Boring selection, but infairly good condition. Food is okies, nothing great, but eatable. Fast service and fairly good value for money

Not far from Euston Tap. A traditional English pub with a nice, albeit limited range of Shepherd Neame on tap and cask.

Last visited here in 2009 for a works leaving do. Long standing GBG entrant (when London didnít have the strength in depth of pubs it has now - but no doubt CAMRA will insist on it - YES just checked the 2013 GBG and its in there !!!) Dreary kind of place with well kept, for what its worth, SN beers. Friendly enough clientle and busy on our visit. Not one Iíd reccomend making an effort for !

Fairly run of the mill pub notable primarily for the fact thatís itís the only Shepherd Neame pub I know of in London to serve the full range of their cask beers, including the relatively rare Kentís Best and the current seasonal. Thatís five on handpump. Sadly they donít have the Shepherd Neame microbrewery beers, but I donít really know which pubs do have them regularly. Certainly none in London as far as I am aware. So, handy for vistors as a one stop shop for clearing up their Shepherd Neame cask scoops in a single location, should they so desire.

Beers are ok, if you like SN. Nothing special though - pub has little character, quite a chain feel to it.
