A little disappointed when I went in. First off, the front door was stuck. Not a good first impression. No bar, but they have a bar "area". You still have to order food to get a beer. A decent bottle list, including a good range of The Hive wines, meads and ciders. Food was average.

Well I found out about this place from Johnny Angel. So last night I went over to check it out. Nice reasonable place. They have a few bottles of beer (13) and a few on tap (10). Just about every bottle they have you can get in the State Liquor store, so no big deal. The stuff on tap is the usually Bud, Bud Light stuff, but they have a few from the local micro’s, cool. I selected the Cask Wasatch Chocolate Porter (see review). The first pint was exactly what I expected, but the second was cold and looked unfiltered, and had a different scent. Don’t really know what happened, but I was dissappointed to say the least. I had the Publick Burger which was not bad. The dinners were in the 15.99 range. I’m really not sure if I will go back again though.

Nice ambiance and traditional Irish fanfare. Menu hosts a nice selection of grub which includes a worthwile Shepherd’s Pie, Guinness Stew and Chicken Pot Pie that comes with a fluffy pastry puff big enough to take a nap on after a filling meal. Shuffleboard and flat screen tv’s make for a nice getaway when you are suppose to be on base working! Also a nice selection of Wasatch brews on tap. Don’t forget to try the seasonal pumpkin ale after a long day of "work" or skiing, it is choice!

Typically 10-12 good local draft brew choices. Excellent choices of food, and good quality ingredients. Mellow Irish music in background. Nice, knowledgable barkeep. Excellent shuffleboard table, but table sometimes not kept up so well. Watch out for one older waitress (40ish, with ponytail) serving in restaurant area out front who seems to need some lithium, hormones, or some kind of medication!
