Lots of draft lines & lots of TV’s. Neighborhood of 70 lines, 5 or 6 DFH, some stone, abita, Great Lakes, Southern Tier. A couple of Belgians DT for one. Lots of flagship beers. Bottle list was i believe all Macros as were about 5-8 lines. Firestone Double Jack was nice. Reasonable prices, fair atmosphere. Didnt eat but there is food. Good spot to have a decemt beer & watch the games.

The new Buffalo area MacGregor’s is a long, somewhat narrow room dominated by flatscreen TVs (I counted how many but have forgotten - lets just say LOTS. Certainly over 20). Overall the place is new & clean. Service was OK on the afternoon I went there, but a bit slow for how empty the place was. The beer selection is solid - nothing crazy on tap but lots of great things to choose from. I didn’t look at (or wasn’t given?) a bottle list so I can’t speak to their non-draft offerings. Food was a bit meh - my Ruben was nice but very salty, my father’s burger was overcooked. Beer was fresh & in good shape, served in dimpled 20oz mugs. Its a place to go if you find yourself in the area but lacks the atmosphere of the Main St. Pizza plant that is only a few miles away. Still, a good option to have when you’re in that neighborhood and a boon to UB students looking for quality beer without the smokiness of Alternative Brews.
