Loved the scooby snacks. | 56 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 10/20 Zola (1) , | October 2, 2012 Good mirco/restaurant...wonderful events! | 68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 queenholly (35) South Whitley, Indiana | September 30, 2012| Updated March 11, 2013 Atmosphere was a little dingy and dated. The place could use a little updating. Their other locations are much nicer than their main brewery. Food is standard pub fare. Beer is solid, but I’d really like to see these folks step up and show us what they’re capable of. With the closest Indiana brewery being about 80 miles away, I think lack of competition may have made these guys a little too laid back. If you’re rating one of their one-off brews, it’s a good idea to grill the staff to find the proper beer name. They’re rather sloppy with their names, and very often write it on the board by it’s style, and not it’s name (ie. once rated their barleywine, which staff told me was called American Style, turned out it was really called Old Crippled Bastard). I visit this place frequently, and my general impression is the brewers don’t communicate much about the beer to the staff, and from bartender to bartender, I’ll get completely different information about the beer. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 18/20 Patrickctenchi (17) columbus, Indiana | September 19, 2012| Updated March 11, 2013 First off, big thank you to Rose, our bartender...friendly, knowledgable...a really wonderful lady.....she even tried to arrange a special tour for me, but with only a lunchtime staff, couldn’t spare a guide.
Warm, open, friendly decor.....the rest of the staff were great...
Food is top notch, nicely priced and service is prompt.
The pints tried were all well above average......fresh, well poured and damn tasty.
I definitely expect return visits in the future, and I hope I can get back soon......
Just a wonderful spot. | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 17/20 NachlamSie (454) Tennessee | May 19, 2012| Updated March 11, 2013 This place has kind of an old-timey diner feel. Pleasant live acoustic band was playing on this Saturday night, a little patio is available too. The bartender was great. It probably helped that there were only four patrons at the bar. Beer selection has a little bit of everything including a smoked amber ale which I enjoyed. The food menu is standard pub grub. My cheesesteak was tasty. Definitely worth a stop for some local brew. | 82 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 16/20 SHIG (178) Anchorage, Alaska | April 5, 2012| Updated March 11, 2013 My brother brought me here while I was visiting Fort Wayne and I was very glad. The beers were all very well produced and the taps had a wide range to meet everyone’s need. The service was spot on and my waitress knew a lot about the beer with history to back it up. I recommend a stop if your in the area. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 VRBJG (11) Fort Wayne, Indiana | November 30, 2011| Updated March 11, 2013 I like this place a lunch stop. Great sandwiches. The beer is good...with the potential to be great. Variety of MA beers on tap is good. Grab a growler on Sunday. (stupid Indiana blue laws) | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 boomkoky (1) , | November 17, 2011| Updated March 11, 2013 Its a really chill place to just go and have a beer with friends. And the food is pretty good too. The in-house beers are a hit and miss though but you can still find some you’ll really like. I recommend a raspberry mixed with a stout. and the auburn lager is a close second | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 shrubber85 (176) Greenville, Indiana | August 12, 2011| Updated March 11, 2013 Not in the nicest part of town but the interior is okay. Good service, decent food and a decent selection of their own beers. Pretty good - one of the better choices in Fort Wayne. | 26 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 1/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 3/20 beerbelly444 (1) Fort Wayne, Indiana | July 31, 2011| Updated March 11, 2013 Terrible attempt at beer-making. Nothing with personality, body, or imagination. Crying shame when this place has all the equipment, and potential to do something great and they simply refuse. |
